This is an excellent hotel in a great location near to the Tower of London and the City of London. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the room was very comfortable. I had a very good night's sleep.

You get exactly what you pay for in relation to the type of hotel it is, however if you have a problem don't expect the staff to be interested in helping you or putting it right, if they improved the attitude of the staff it would be a good place to stay

I love the Premier chain but this is not my favourite. It's not in a particularly great street or area and many of the public areas of the hotel are tired and worn. There was an abandoned suitcase on one floor for two days! A drink left unclaimed in a hallway. Our room was a reasonable size but the window too small, making if feel like a broom cupboard. Charging to use the safe is just petty, and the safe's don't even work. Staff seemed fine, although some were a little scruffy. The shower was really good however and the room was clean and comfortable.

The Premier Inn is a nice, cheap and good hotel situated in the east of London. It has good access to London City Airport. You get to the metro station and to the Tower of London within few minutes on foot. It is also close to a stop of the Hop-on-Buses.

The hotel room was quite spacious. I liked the purple shade of colors in the room. Hence, great rooms for this price category.

English breakfast was offered in the hotel, nothing really fancy, but good quality and the best for a good start in the day.

Check-in could have been more attentive (no eye contact when speaking). At check-in, a receipt for me was interchanged and I had to clear that up. My - not really uncommon - request for 2 additional towels during the stay was fullfilled, however only after a short explanation.

In contrast, check-out - by anothrer staff member - was professional and friendly.
So the service is good but could be optimized.

All in all, a really good hotel which I can recommend.

Even though my stay was in April 2013, I hope this comment can be useful to other travellers.

It's a budget hotel, let's not forget. BUT the beds are comfy, the staff here are lovely, the breakfast is freshly cooked (the eggs were a bit rubbery though - points off food for that) and all in all is a very calming experience. I have to commend the management on the staff - for normally rude or indifferent London staff, these guys knock the spots off some other hotel chains. Love 'em! If you happen to stay in the Tower area, this is definitely your best option if you are on a budget or a tight corporate rein. And you are a short 5 min walk from the curry houses of Brick Lane, and the marvellous Wapping pubs. Recommended.

Quite confortable and spacious room (408) with excellent hot shower. By contrast breakfast disorganised with long queues to access the restaurant and many uncleared tables. Having gained a table there was no queueing for food but a short wait for cutlery. I'd be tempted to visit Wetherspoons (opposite) for breakfast next time!

Great stay perfect, staff so helpful from check-in to restaurant, very reasonably priced as well would definitely recommend. Good to see there is still good value and good service.the only thing that is annoying me is have to write 200 words on this review when I said it all .
