I stayed here for a second time and have to say the reception staff were better than during my first stay. House 4 has been refurbished so stay there if you can. Have breakfast elsewhere. This place although basic is great for all the restaurants. Hyde Park and Tubes into to the Olympic Village in Stratford

I stayed there and was given a room, shower not working and the shower floor black. the curtains were stinking, the toilet was smelling of a strange odour and belive me it stank. I was asked if I wanted a shower. This should be a basic part of the hotel set up and checked to be working properly.
In the morning we went down to the basement for breakfast, no cornflakes, not cordial drink all
which only cost a couple of pence to buy. I fork that was lighter than a feather. We had a choice of fried eggs on toast or scrambled eggs on toast and coffee and tea. I am ashamed to say I paid to stay in this filthy hole. It should be reported to the office of fair trading and the enviromental health association to sort these people out. I wanted to give a 0 rating but the computer would not allow this.

Room Tip: go and sleep in hyde park accross the road, you would have a better welcome in the salvation army an...

worse than a barn, with no toilet just a standing area for shower. Stay away from this hotel, there are a lot of nicer hotels surrounds the area with cheaper, cleaner and human-y room.

Room Tip: a barn is far better

We were bumped off from the Whiteleaf hotel next door to here... The room we were given was on the top floor and the receptionist added "there is no hot water". I asked if that was just a temporary thing or if it was like that all the time. She said it was like that all the time to which I said that those rooms shouldn't even be sold or should be available at a discount! If you stay here make sure you get a room with hot water or to be honest the best advice I can give is to pay a bit more money an stay in a 'proper' hotel!!

If you looking for a place to sleep, and dont intend to spend too much of time at hotel while in London, than this is a good place.

If you look around, you could get better places to stay while at the same price.

Rooms had smell. Internet was 1 pound for 10 minutes while internet cafes charge 1 pound and hour.

Excellent location.

Breakfast was ok. Room for breakfast was depressing.

Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were alright, but can be kept in better condition

Have you been dreaming of staying in a ramshackle hotel in London, it´s possible :
Queen´s hotel, Bayswater, London.
The hotel has an exelent position in Bayswater near Quensway, the tube and Hyde park.
The building has a cosy facade but behind this point the slum begins.
This hotel is disgusting, dirty, dangerus and unhealthy.
It you whould like to research fo living in the ghetto it´s O.K.
The private rubbish mountain in the back-yard is an impressive home-made work of art.
Hotel facilitys: Cockroaches, louse, pigeons, out of order electric radiator, draughty windows, dirty television, rude and polite service.
