“Charming Three Level Architectural Old World”
Reviewed 3 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

The perks and positives: Close proximity to the tubes and grocery and restaurants. Soho is a diverse area, which I liken to my country with all peoples from all walks of life. The apartment in and of itself is a charming dwelling. The fireplace, and beautiful ornamental ceilings are striking. The windows are lovely.

The negative and not so nice was the dingy dirty furniture, and general uncleanliness of the entire apartment. There were mice too, so beware that you might not want to keep any food opened. This was a huge turnoff and the dingy condition of the apartment made our stay extremely uncomfortable. It's unfortunate because the owner, apparently the gentleman downstairs, was a most kind and friendly neighbor. The bathrooms were the only agreeable areas as they were what looked to be recently renovated, but we had problems with the tubs not draining in both bathrooms. I would suggest that the entire place be upgraded in furniture and kept clean if the owners want return guests, and we do travel to London a lot. The presentation pictures were deceiving as the appearance is that of beautiful furnishings, but the reality was extremely disappointing. We could not even use the pullout bed as it was dirty, old, and stained, as all the furniture and pillows were. In its present condition I can't in good conscience recommend it to my fellow travelers.

“Very nice stay and owner on premises very pleasant!”
Reviewed 9 June 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We stayed at this property from March 28 - April 3. The location was relatively easy to find and the rental agents friendly. They took us on a tour of the upstair apartment which we had booked (the owner lives downstairs). We had no problems during our stay. It was centrally located and close to the underground tube stations (Both Goodge Street and TotenhamCourt Road). We received the reimbursed damage deposit in a very timely manner. I would easily recommend this property to stay at on a trip to London (which was everything I remembered it to be seeing that I have been to London 3 previous times - Great City!).

“Pleasant & Perfect”

Ok so I stayed in this apartment again and what a pleasant surprise - it has recently had a makeover and was greatly improved. The rooms are very spacious, the duvets were down and the linen cotton. The bathrooms were modern and clean and simple. It was a wonderful, comfortable stay in the perfect location with Goodge Street tube station only a minute walk away. I would definitely recommend the apartment since its renovation. Nearby shopping has increased with even more activity in Tottenham Court Road and flagship stores that end of Oxford Street opening up. Restaurants in Charlotte Street are always a treat & of course the best breakfast at Lantana is just a few steps away.

“Great location, ideal for extended families, decor/ furnishings needs some updating”
Reviewed 9 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

First the good points:- Fab location. Apartment is located on a quiet street. Near to the tube station and local bars/restaurants/shops. Letting agent staff very friendly and informative. The apartment worked really as we were with our daughter and her partner and our son. The layout gave us all plenty of space. The location was great for getting around London Regent/Oxford street were in easy walking distance. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were newly renevated. Lovely complimentary toiletries in both bathrooms. Kitchen welcome pack was ideal so we could have a cuppa as soon as we got there which is always a bonus! We felt the apartment was defiantly worth doing instead of a hotel. We would defiantly consider doing this again next time we go away altogether.
The not so good points:- due to the bathroom renovation the apartment was very dusty and needed airing and the banisters had to be washed (not really what I expected to have to do ) as every time we went up and down the stairs hands were covered I white plaster dust. Also shelving unit in living room was covered in dust. The stair carpet needed cleaning as someone had walked in previously with sticky feet which meant you couldn't walk around without shoes on as your feet stuck to the carpet. The furniture in the living room could do with updating as its a bit miss matched and tired. The kitchen lacked a few thing ie baking trays. All things that could be easily rectified with a bit more attention I feel. I would still however return again and also recommend to others. As I do feel once the work is completed the apartment will lovely.

“Terrific Location, Comfortable but could use update”
Reviewed 15 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

I was traveling with my two daughters and daughter in law.
The apartment is on three levels up narrow stairs. That is no problem if you are aware and able to get your luggage up the stairs. Pack light!
Location was excellent. Quiet and close to good restaurants, grocery, Black Sheep Coffee House (Terrific small neighborhood shop but not open on the weekends) and public transportation. Since property was on three levels had plenty of privacy for all in the group.
Kitchen and living room are on level one. (Up one flight of stairs from entrance.)
PROS: Kitchen was good size with full size refrigerator. Washing machine worked well in kitchen. Dryer was on level three. It worked well.
UPDATES NEEDED: The refrigerator needed defrosting. Living room couches need updating.
Bedrooms are on levels two and three.
PROS:Large bedrooms and beds were comfortable.Good large closets. Full bathrooms on each bedroom level.
UPDATES NEEDED: Picture hangers on walls but no pictures! One ceiling light didn't function and had no globe cover on it. Bathroom on second level needed a good scrubbing as mold graced the corners around the bathtub area. Also, window shade in Blue bedroom would fall down if pulled to cover the full length window.

NOTE: Good hot water if group divides showers morning and night. Four women trying to shower in the morning left one without hot water.

It was a comfortable stay and with minimal updating would be 5 stars for us! We would rent again.

This property is a true gem! Located in such an eclectic neighbourhood- great pubs and restaurants in walking distance . Supermarkets are close by if you want to eat in. Goodge street station is around the corner. Rupal was most helpful in dealing with the booking and check-in process. Can't wait to return and would recommend to anyone!
