I tried to book this hotel on behalf of two team members for a business trip in London later this year. Both members of my team had visited for a drink, so knew the place and were looking forward to staying.
Sadly, the hotel wouldnt allow us to pre-pay on a company card for the rooms, nor would they accept the members of our team using a company credit card to pay for their rooms when they checked out. Having tried to resolve it by phoning up and chatting to a staff member, as well as sending a few emails, they still wouldnt allow us to pre pay at all. It was a lot to ask our team members to pay out of their own pocket for a business trip, and all other hotels seem to offer pre-payment - seems very outdated from the hotel! I tried again to resolve it and asked if we could pre-pay, following some wording on their website which suggested they did accept pre-payments for rooms, however my email was then ignored and I have since cancelled the booking. Big shame as I had heard it would have been a great location and nice place, but the service to customers willing to spend £500 there was a huge let down and off putting for the future.More
