Service is great, rooms are stylish. The pool and the drawing rooms are nice touches. The location is very central. The hotel balances British tradition with modern touches. Will return! My only beef with the place is that wifi should be free given the high prices of the rooms.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Haymarket Hotel, which we were very lucky to have recieved as a wedding present - a night stay in a luxury room and breakfast. I have to say the best wedding present ever!. Approaching our first wedding anniversary we booked up and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was just perfect. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout, we were given room No1 which was stunning, the bed was so comfortable, robes, slippers, so clean and fresh and a well stocked mini bar, you name it it was there and if not room service was not a problem! We had many cocktails in the adjoining Brumus bar which were lovely for a special occassion. We recieved complimentry champagne for our anniversary celebration and the first honesty bar we have seen in a while which was in a large open room furnished with lots of relaxing seating, beautiful pictures and mirrors throughout. Large umbrellas available if needed in the downpours. Following morning we went for a swim in the large pool, so quiet it was like we had our own private pool. Breakfast was truely delicious and everything was on offer. I think we have to say this is at the top of our list for a return stay in London, only regret was we couldnt stay longer.

The hotel is nested in the heart of London, half way between Trafalgar square and Piccadilly circus. The hotel is beautifully decorated, each room with a different look and with a lot of taste with a mix of heteroclit objects. It's worth going through the hotel to have a look at the paintings and pieces of art. The rooms are very comfortable, the room service impeccable and always ready to answer all needs. Service is great, from breakfast to bar or reception. A lot of attention is given to details like a sleeping spray to spread on your pillow, welcome attention in the rooms... The swimming pool is really great and allows real swimming. Only downside is the price but in line with London prices for high standard hotels.

Every year we visit London for a weekend show and good family time. Over the past 4 years we have come to love the Haymarket Hotel. Perfect location, great rooms, superb atmosphere and a staff that always want to help.
You do need to keep an eye out for costs as direct quotes are ex-VAT, but if you want to have a special time there aren't many better places to go in our opinion.

We stayed two nights at the Haymarket. The hotel is near Trafalgar Square which can be noisy but our room on the ground floor was completely quiet, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, from helping us with reservations to arranging for cabs when we needed them, to offering us access to small amenities after we had checked our luggage on the day of departure. Centrally located, this hotel is ideal for for shopping, theaters, museums and getting around London. I was sorry to leave.
London is always expensive but I felt the Haymarket justified every penny.

I spent 4 nights here last week with a friend (July 13-16, 2012) . I have been to London many times and have to say that this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in London. The decor is very contemporary and may not be to the taste of traditionalists, but I loved it. Fresh, colorful and comfortable. Our room was very large, beautifully furnished and the bathroom was outstanding. Never saw such gleaming porcelain sinks, bathtubs etc in a hotel as well as shining chrome fixtures. (and in the past I have stayed at some of London's leading hotels such as the Ritz, Browns etc. ) Even a TV embedded in a mirror at the foot of the bathtub - not that I watched it. The windows are very effectively double glazed and we did not hear a peep from outside in spite of the very busy Haymarket St near the hotel.

The public rooms were very pretty with a whimsical contemporary decor that I enjoyed. The restaurant was very nice where we had daily breakfast and a couple of dinners.

As the old saying goes - location, location, location. Right next to the Haymarket Theater and a very short walk from Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery and Piccadilly Sq.

The staff is outstanding! By the morning after we checked in, they were greeting us by name! No request was too much for them. The concierge was outstanding as were the people at the reception desk, the assistant concierge, the restaurant personnel and the housekeeping staff. How do they do it? Friendly, always smiling and willing to assist.

I should mention that the hotel has a large indoor swimming pool but we did not make use of it.

I highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: I doubt that they have any unsatisfactory rooms. Our room was on the first floor over the entrance.

That was our first experience with Haymarket. From the first minute of booking and till our check-out it felt like someone very close to you takes care of you. No advance payments or credit card details - you are treated with trust. All our requests be it tickets to the Phantom of the Opera or booking in trendy restaurants were fulfilled with joy and easily. Will come back again)
