My wife and I stayed here for one night on May 26th. Everything about this hotel is classy. We had room 3 on the ground floor which was comfortable and delightful. The staff were excellent. This is not the cheapest hotel in London but if you want style, comfort and service it is right up there

Returned to the Haymarket's Brumus restaurant for afternoon tea. Reservation agent was very accommodating and arranged all as requested. Upon arrival and taking seats it took a little while until we were greeted and acknowledged. We were then asked which tea we wanted. Tea was placed on table without explanation. Selection of salmon or cream cheese sandwiches, cake selection fairly classic. No top up of beverages was offered throughout but left over pastries were offered to be boxed up for us. Left after 6pm while restaurant was reset for dinner. Afternoon tea selection and quality a little disappointing but love the style and design of the place.

Kit Kemp - take a bow - quality, style, comfort and all wrapped up with a great sense of fun. These elements all go to make the Haymarket a good hotel. However what takes The Haymarket Hotel from good to great were the staff - front of house, reception, restaurant - these guys and girls are on another level.
We need a new suitcase and couldn' face schlapping around London to find one - no problem, they had a supplier, reasonable price, delivered within 24 hour - done
We then need some post sent - all taken care of, recipient delighted.
All up, a tremendous stay apart from the length being too short.
Well done Kit and Co, well done your marvellous team.

What a pleasant surprise! I have never stayed in this Hotel before but will most definitely be going again and recommending it to any friends visiting London. The decor is so bright and quirky throughout and I simply loved it. Rooms were comfortable and all so different, each with a character quite it's own. In addition, it was sparklingly clean.
The staff throughout our visit were extremely attentive in a pleasant unfussy way. Breakfasts provided were lovely too. In terms of situation, you couldn't really get any better if visiting the main sites in London and/or heading to the theatre. We did both and made good use of the comfortable bar area afterwards!! We especially enjoyed the tapas on offer there.
Overall we had a most enjoyable experience. The only downside was that the pool was out of commission which was a real pity.......it looked absolutely fabulous. Again the decor and the surroundings there were quite outstanding. We will be back and will make use of these facilities then I'm certain.

Hotel extremely well run, rooms delighful and very clean. Firmdale Hotels are in a league of their own as these standards continue throughout their group.

We've stayed at the Haymarket at two occasions the last two years. Haymarket is centrally located for theatres, excellent restaurants and shopping. We had the concierge make dinner recommendations and reservations for us: excellent recommendations. The hotel is of the smaller ones, it has a great lobby area, and a lounge area with an honesty bar where we also had a wonderful afternoon tea on both occasions, before our departure. The rooms are larger than the average hotel rooms. Both rooms we've stayed in have been very spacious, and the Kit Kemp decor makes the hotel feel as a home away from home. We loved spending some time at the hotel after hours of shopping/sightseeing on a cold November day. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The breakfast in the Brumus caters for all tastes, and they will prepare almost whatever you ask for. We couldn't use the pool area the first time we were there, it was closed due to a private function. It was open the second time we were there, it was a stylish and tranquil pool area, almost worth the wait. We were sad to leave, and would recommend the hotel without hesitation if you want to splash out.

This was our third visit to London and they Haymarket Hotel is our favorite hotel by far.

Location - The hotel is conveniently located in the theater district and is situated for easy access to the business district and tourist sites. we were there on business and extended for pleasure, so the location was perfect. While the location is in the theater district you would think it would be noisy, it was not. It is next two a couple of theaters, but a few blocks from Picadilly Square, so you get access to the bustling theater district without all the late night activity. We prefer to walk when we travel to see more. This location is close to shopping, theaters, and major historical sites. For visiting further sites, it is close to the Tube.

Hotel/Accommodations - This is a smaller hotel (which we prefer). The staff (doormen, desk, restaurant) are friendly and remembers your name. The room was larger than most you find in Europe and was extremely comfortable. The bedding was very comfortable, had a seating and work area, and was very clean. The bathroom was also larger than what we usually find in Europe and easily accommodated two of us.

Amenities - The hotel has a beautiful indoor pool, a restaurant, bar, and a nice lounge area with honor bar for guests. Our rate included breakfast, and it was very good and served with a smile. We dit not have dinner at the hotel, but did have some appetizers in the bar (service and food was very good). The lounge and honor bar was a nice touch for relaxing after a long day when you want some quiet.

The only negative is that after six nights here we went to Paris and were disappointed with our Paris room we kept wishing we were back at the Haymarket.

I highly recommend and will stay here on our next trip.

Room Tip: We reqiuested an off street room and were very happy.
