Before staying here I knew exactly that the rooms were tiny, basic and no-frills which I was fine about. However upon check-in and then having to climb the 5 flights of stairs to reach the top floor- which I must also add is the ONLY fire escape out of the hotel, I thought that they had checked us into a spare store room or something. I can only resemble it to what it must be like to be in a coffin it was that tiny. Now I knew it would be, in according to their website 6-7mtrs sq, however someone must have got their measuring wrong with this room for sure as it was nearer 5mtrs sq. We only had with us a rucksack and a bag which was smaller than the average carry on size for cabin luggage and this presented a big problem. There is absolutely no where for you to put your stuff, without it being in the way of either getting to the bed, opening the doors or being able to actually stand up! The room was extremely hot, even though we asked for the air to be adjusted it was still roasting, and this was on a day when it was only 19C in London! That said the lady on check -in was friendly and efficient enough so can't grumble at that, the location was ok, with good facilities near by. It is ok for a night, but staying any longer would be simply unbearable. Pay that little bit more and get something far nicer if staying for a longer break, it will definitely be worth it!More
