I found this gorgeous cafe just a few yards away from St Paul's and the Millennium Bridge. Much quieter than the surrounding 'cost-bucks' fares and very nice setting in a chapel. I will use again for meeting in the city.

Perfect location for a coffee, off the road of hustle and bustle (metres from St Paul's) and no long cues. The coffee knowledge that the staff member had was fantastic, I ordered a long black and the hubby had a short macchiato (which wasn't in the menu) We went on a Sunday and we had plenty of spaces to choose from. Lots of room, gorgeous views of St Paul's and the building itself is spectacular.
Great atmosphere, great coffee and highly recommend

Situated in a Christopher Wren church right near St Paul's with lots of light and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended for coffee, cake, or lunch.

The coffee was great, the cake delicious, and the sandwiches were very good too. The managers of this coffee shop have taken a lot of care choosing special coffees and teas which make this shop stand out from all the local "chains". However, the truly lovely thing about The Wren is the gorgeous venue. The coffee shop is in a fully restored Sir Christopher Wren church just a few steps from the north side of the Millennium Bridge (and a few steps south of St. Paul's Cathedral). Even on a cloudy day, light floods in through massive Palladian windows bathing the interior in a warm glow. No crowded tables in this London venue, the interior is incredibly spacious with lots of tables, chairs and sofas. Terrace seating affords a spectacular view of the St. Paul's dome. We also appreciated the attention to detail demonstrated in the fine renovation. The Wren's restrooms are a delightful surprise, particularly in London! Service was efficient and friendly too. Not to be missed when in the City of London.

A great place to stop for a peaceful lunch. Superb location just by St Paul's, with tasty savouries and cakes. The staff are friendly and efficient. Do try the tea, which was deliciously fresh.
