It was a surprise to find a cemetery that held so much history on my doorstep, more surprising was it also is a nature reserve as well. It has William Booth Founder of the Salvation Army, Frank C Bostock a famous animal tamer of his time (not an acceptable job today). there is a chapel in the ground that due to bad repair and vandalism is now a shell, but it is a wonderful building. Get your walking boots on and take a visit, I went back just to see what I missed and it was worth it
