“Interesting, enthralling and entertaining. A must for any age”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

The Wellcome collection is what museums should be. Exciting, interesting and extremely well designed. You'll find yourself thinking "wow, I didn't know that" multiple times as you walk through their (admittedly small) exhibitions. But its definitely worth visiting, glad I spent some of my limited time here.

The store also has a bunch of really cool items, worth a browse even if you don't buy anything.

“Wow!”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Visiting the Wellcome collection in July meant that we were able to see "An Idiosyncratic A to Z of the Human Condition". A great exhibition filled with interactive pieces which really made you think. We thoroughly joined in and attempted most of the interactive parts including drawing pictures, submitting photos and even putting ourselves on the height chart. For two women in our thirties, it was as entertaining for us as it was for the families who brought children with them. Really eye opening and entertaining.
The Medicine Man area was closed which was disappointing as I'd been told it was well worth a look but the book/gift shop more than made up for it. A brilliant blend of science, philosophy, medicine, humour and books under one roof.

“Wellcome Collection - Under major renovation until winter 2014-15”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

We visited the Wellcome Collection on Euston Road recently and discovered that a vast majority of this attraction was closed off to visitors due to a major renovations taking place. We were told that these renovations were scheduled for completion around the end of this year (2014).

In the meantime, there remain a few parts of the Wellcome Collection open for visitors. These include the cafe and bookshop (Ground floor), 'Medicine Now' Gallery (1st floor) and Wellcome Library (3rd floor).

The Medicine Now Gallery is an provocative collection of exhibits which blend science, medicine and art in consideration to human health and afflictions. There are some intriguing and fascinating things to see. Unfortunately, this is the only major exhibition that remains open at this time. You can visit the Medicine Now gallery comfortably in 30-45 minutes.

At this time, due to the renovation work taking place at the Wellcome Collection, you might want to save it for a later trip to London, when a more comprehensive visit is possible.

“Quirky and interesting collection”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

This is the second time I have visited the Wellcome Collection. Much of the permanent exhibition was closed off due to renovations but this didn't matter. The open exhibits were engaging, interesting and fun. The collection is open late some nights and is free. We stayed at St Pancras YHA hitch is just up the road. Definitely worth a look.

“Interesting exhibits”
Reviewed 14 May 2014 via mobile

Although from the outside there is a lot of scaffolding, the overall collection is still interesting. The variety on offer can interest all ages but it is over quite quickly. Good points include a calm environment in the cafe and a free cloakroom.
