“The best (even free) events in London”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

I'm delighted every time I go to watch a movie or an opera. I watched a couple movies last year (I'm planning to come back in September) and the sound was great, yesterday evening I watched an opera (by http://www.merryopera.co.uk/ ) and the actors were singing without microphone, they were perfectly hearable. Great place, great shows. The movies are free, for the theatre events sometimes they ask for an offer at the end, completely up to you

“The Scoop - small sunken amphitheatre at More London”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

he Scoop is a sunken outdoor amphitheatre, which can be found just next to City Hall along the River Thames in London.

This is a great venue for performances which regularly take place here during the warmer months of the year.

We recently watched a samba performance, in spirit of the upcoming FIFA World Cup football tournament. The performers produced a harmonious and fantastic atmosphere on a warm Saturday afternoon.

If you happen to be in this area of London during your visit, its well worth stopping for a short while to take in the performances held here if you happen upon one in progress. You can also check out those already scheduled for The Scoop by visiting the More London website.
