Description: Whether you've just popped in to see the Queen but didn't fancy staying for tea, are catching a show at the theatre next door or just feel like lingering over a pint before facing the hustle and bustle of Victoria, we have the perfect place for you. The Phoenix, just 5 minutes from Victoria Station, is alive in the week with office workers and on the weekend the hubbub comes from the tourists popping into Buckingham Palace. Our menu showcases the fresh seasonal ingredients whilst reminding all how good traditional British food can be. The large bar is a mix and match of tables, armchairs, with space at the bar for those wanting to sample the real ales or a fine fine glass of wine. The Upstairs Bar is ideal for meetings, dinners, drinks and more. Out the back is the garden delightful for a light lunch or after work libation. The Royal Family have a delightful local.

Met friends on their visit to the UK from New Zealand. Lovely little garden in a build up area. The service was good the atmosphere buzzing and very child friendly. Food good.

Popular brewpub with re-imagined British menu. Fish and chips and lamb were delicious. Lots of outside seating.

Surprising to find a pub in the midst of central london, so close to offices and shopping areas and yet serving sloppy fare. The only palatable food on my plate were chips. I did not like the quiche, nor the accompanying potatoes. The service was just tolerable, nothing to speak good about. My colleague had fish and he found it below par.

This place was given some average or below reviews but we went anyway. We were happy with the service all the way around, the food, and it was a great place to watch folks dressed in their Sunday Best make their way to tea with the Queen. This was about as close as we got to Tea with the Queen but we had more fun and were certainly more comfortable!

We visited on the recommendation from our hotel doorman. It was a Monday afternoon, so very quiet. I was looking for a classic English pub, and this just wasn't it...too modern for me. They have a wide selection of cask ales, which do not interest me. I settled on a bland tap beer and wife had a cider; we did not stay for dinner. English is not the primary language of the staff, so ordering proved to be interesting.
