This is a brand new Premier Inn and what can I say absolutely fantastic.

Very well situated between Chancery Lane and Holborn Tube Stations and also within easy walking distance of Covent Garden, Leicester Square etc if you don't fancy the tube.

Staff were very very friendly and attentive and took a real interest in our plans whilst we were staying in London.

Room was very nice with a lovely walk in shower, comfortable beds and it was so quiet.

All in all a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay her again.

I recommend this hotel for everyone, we staid there for 3 nights and were really happy about everything. The staff was so nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable. Holborn train station was just few minutes walk away so it did just took a few minutes to get to the center of London, e. Oxford circus. And also there was a lot of good restraunts in the neighbour hood.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on 23rd Aug to 25th Aug. Was a bit late to the room as we didn't really get how the tube worked (We had a steep learning curve in this haha) Upon arrival we were 1 hour late, the staff were absolutely lovely and didn't mind at all, as soon as we walked through the door they asked if we were ok or in need of any help. They got us all checked in and informed us that there was 24 hr help at reception if we ever needed it which we thought was fantastic.

Got the lift up to the room, we were on 1st floor, as soon as we stepped out of the lift it smelt lovely, we had to use our swipe cards to even get into the corridor which is good as it makes you feel safer knowing that people cant just stroll into the corridors, everything was so fresh and clean, went to our room and we were very impressed, it was spotless!!

The double bed was quite high which we loved as we are both fairly tall, and then there was a single bed which was lower (which my 6 year old slept in) the quilt was VERY fluffy and warm on both and the mattress was the comfiest I have ever slept on!! There were 2 fluffy pillows on the double bed already and then 2 spares in the wardrobe in case we wanted more. Plenty of powerpoints and even points to plug in USB's etc in the wall. There was a huge flat screen TV with lots of channels and the bathroom had an amazing shower, the bath was really deep as well (I like to have a soak after all day traipsing round London and this was perfect) There was Shampoo and Shower gel supplied on the wall next to the shower which smelt nice.

This hotel is literally 5 minutes from the tube and about 10 minutes from Covent garden/British museum, we also walked to Oxford street. I would say to anyone who doesn't understand how to get around in london to just buy an all day travel card, as it is only about £9 for an adult and gives unlimited journeys on the bus/tube all day until 4am the next morning, otherwise the tube is like £4.70 per journey and if you are likely to get confused this could get expensive haha.

Throughout the night I did not hear ANY noise whatsoever. The hotel is directly opposite a little italian called Isolabella and there is also a little pattiserie on the corner. We made sure we put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door before we went to sleep at night and we were never disturbed until we'd removed the sign. Housekeeping would wait until we'd gone out and then come in to freshen the room up. Guests are in control of their own rooms aircon/heating and can therefore make the room as cold or warm as they wish which is fab.

Room had kettle with different teas/coffees etc and also a hairdryer, all i would say is, if you want to hang up your clothes there are only like 6 coat hangers, so bring some if you wish to hang up your clothes, as i wish i had, there is a large drawer to store clothes too but I like to hang my things so they don't get creased,, not a major issue just something maybe worth considering.

All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff were so lovely and eager to please, nothing was too much trouble, I will be rebooking here again 100%, in the very near future, and am already looking forward to coming back!!! :D

Thankyou!!

First thing, this is a new hotel, only opened a few weeks so things will and do go wrong. Check in took around 15 minutes, far too long for a self service check in, maybe their computers were on a go slow, but the assistant that was employed to oversee was happy just to sit there or talk to his work mate and showed little interest in being overly helpful.....,

Got to the room, all was fine, clean and pretty much brand new, even had a new carpet smell. We arrived late, so pretty much straight to bed, the new bed... almost requires a ladder to get into it!, To be honest, I've slept in a lot better, these are very firm, and we both found it quite uncomfortable. along with the pillows. The quilt supplied is very thick and heavy, Im sure would be great in the arctic, but not necessary in this country, it made the night very hot and even more uncomfortable,

We were a few rooms away from the lifts, but they could clearly be heard in the room!

Quick shower in the morning, it had to be quick as there was no shower gel in the dispenser... Time to check out and pointed out these couple of issues. The attendant told us we could have had a thinner quilt, this is very useful to know, now!!! Its a shame we weren't told this could have been available when we checked in. Also mentioned about the shower gel. By now there was starting to get a bit of a Que of people waiting to check in, So straight away offered the 'goodnight guarantee' which we accepted, and told we would be contacted later in the day, regarding a refund. Stupidly I believed this, but this was more likely so I didn't bring anything else up in front of other guests arriving and left!

We didn't breakfast here, there is no option of the continental, as seems to be the case with most London Premier Inn's, so £9 for some toast, cereal etc is way to much, just go to one of the 3 or 4 cafes directly opposite, great breakfast at a quarter of the price.

We wouldn't return to this Premier Inn, however, Im sure it will get to the standard that it should be and that is expected.

I use Premier Inn around 5 - 6 times a year, and whilst in London, so far this year we've stuck to Kennsington, which has always been great, Holborn has a long long way to go yet.....

Come on Premier Inn, you can be better than this, and also maybe some one should be contacting me about keeping to your promise of 'goodnight guarantee'???

Room Tip: This seems to be a quiet area, so not a massive amount of traffic noise, but avoid anywhere near the...

Just came back from a 4 night stay and thought I'd break a habit of a lifetime and submit a review. First the negatives, as it's a new hotel there were a number of glitches, which I suppose you d expect. Fire alarm went off for a short period twice, food took a while to arrive even when it was quiet - I think it was down to a problem when they tried to input your order electronically and we had a complete power outage in our room.

Now the positives - location is excellent 5 - 10 min walk from tube, staff could not do enough for you, food both at breakfast and dinner was v good and well priced and when our electric blew they quickly moved us to another room and under their Goodnight Sleep guarantee they refunded us a nights accommodation.
Would have given 5 stars but for the glitches which I am sure they will soon iron out.

Professional staff, good breakfast and clean environment.
Josh at the reception was exceptional, quickly resolves all our complains and needs.
Housekeeping however is a little bit lazy when it comes to changing beddings, they rather not do this part of the job even when the bed sheet was covered with food stains , they will prefer to neatly make the bed than change it .
Apart from this ,really enjoyed our stay here .

Great location 10 minute walk from kings cross, I booked with slight hesitance as I am not a fan of premier inns.

Arrived to be met by very happy enthusiastic staff, went to room and found it spotless, huge TV, high bed plump duvet it was all a bit of a shock. Returned to the reception and asked for directions and wS printed off a map. Went out met friends for the evening and returned later to sit in the bar.

The bar staff were friendly and fun and accommodating and an asset to the hotel. And then I slept like a log!

Fabulous new hotel which I hope continues to function in this way.

Will return in the future
