Description: From the street the Norfolk Arms is your typical London pub. A place where Charles Dickens might drink with Samuel Pepys. Mix and match benches and tables clutter the pavement where rather than bewigged gentlemen local business-types and shoppers refresh after a hard day at the coalface. Inside the traditional feel continues while a lively ambience and fresh paint keep the look free from old-man-and-dog territory. A new breed of gastropub, the Norfolk Arms has already gained critical acclaim, thanks in part to its novel ordering concept. Nevermind starters and mains, this is tapas-meets-home cooking, where you just keep ordering plates of food until you can scarf no more. Roast dinners, pates, scotch eggs and pork belly are joined by Mediterranean flavours throughout.

I made a group booking for around 9 people, and the was told that the service was great as well as the food which was delicious, well presented and value for money. High recommended.

This gastro pub near Kings Cross Station should be ashamed of the service and quality of food. We were 5 crammed in to a table of 4 on a Thursday night. Wooden tables and chairs were uncomfortable. If it wasn't for my family it would have been a total disaster. Drinks came fairly quickly, but soon the service went downhill fast. A few appetizers of oysters and olives came relatively fast, after which there was almost an hour wait for several tapas which were ordered. When the tapas arrived-at different times?? some were cold whilst others such as the chorizo were too overdone. A 12.5% gratuity is added??? Would steer clear of this place in the future.

Pooped in by chance for a bite to eat with my daughter around 1730hrs. good selection of food on offer, although limited on the veggi side of things.
Pasta was good, the sausage on a bed of lentils was slightly undercooked and nothing special.
What let this place down was the very slow service 20mins just to take our order and being overcharged for the beer, paid for a pint when i ordered a half, only picked this up on thetrain home, so my fault.
would i come again, unlikely given the choice of good places to eat in london

We stumbled upon this spot once we checked into our hotel nearby. The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about but the tapas were really fantastic. Great food and a lovely spot to while away a few hours on a sunny day.

Went there during the week for lunch with office colleagues. The atmosphere was nice - it was quite empty. The service was good and food arrived reasonably quick. The food seems quite average - nothing memorable but also no disappointments. Would not go out of my way to eat there, but if you are in the area and craving a relaxed tapas dining experience, it is a reasonable option.
