My first visit to Chez Bruce yesterday evening for a celebration. Having wanted to visit there for some time I am pleased to say it did not disappoint in anyway.
The entire dining experience is very relaxed, and not at all stuffy as I have found in other Michelin starred restaurants - very unpretentious which I like. That being said the decor, ambience, and presentation of the restaurants is fantastic.
The most impressive thing here is undoubtedly the food - 3 courses (of that standard) with the level of taste we experience was a real treat. The flavours were great, beautifully presented and the lamb croquette with liver & kidney I had brought a huge smile to my face!
The service was attentive, yet never over bearing. Helpful with a few menu questions and wine suggestions and just there to ensure you had a nice evening.
If you're in SW London - definitely pay Chez bruce a visit - we certainly will be going again - especially as we were told they change dishes on the menu pretty regularly!
