My daughter is getting married so good excuse to try out some nice restaurants near the venue and find a hotel where she and her man can stay on the wedding night. Good friendly staff at reception, no brochure, everything has to be viewed 'online'.
Lunch in the restaurant, very quiet but interesting interior and cool. Set menu for lunch two courses for £25, food looked great when it arrived, but tasted very ordinary. Interesting desserts but too big. Hate wasting food, but left half of mine! Not the place for a 26 year old more geared to the over 35s!

We went for a Chocolate Afternoon Tea and this gorgeous hotel did not disappoint. Very elegant and tranquil surroundings, the staff are lovely and the food is exquisite and unlimited. Afternoon tea including extra soft drinks was approx £35 pp.

I just wanted to say we had one of the best afternoons at the Chancery Court Hotel in 'The Lounge' for the Chocolate Afternoon Tea.

I agree with the previous reviewer, the value for money is amazing, unlimited chocolate in addition to sandwiches, scones and tea - you come out stuffed, not to mention feeling well and truly spoilt.

The service was also outstanding, a special mention must go to Luca, our waiter that day. There was no request that was too difficult for him and was the main reason we felt so spoilt. He even provided us with boxes to take some of the amazingly made cakes and chocolates home in a box!

Overall highly recommended especially for a birthday gift or special occasion (but at a fraction of the price expected at a mere £23.50 per head).

The artistically crafted confectionery and tea tasting is sure to impress.

If you love chocolate, you must visit the chocolate buffet at the Chancery Court hotel. It is open from Wednesday to Saturday 2-6pm and is chocolate heaven. You start with finger sandwiches and rolls, followed by the lightest of scones with jam and clotted cream. Finally you help yourself to the chocolate buffet. There is a wide range of cakes, desserts, biscuits, pastries and 2 chocolate fountains. They were perfection on a plate. At only £23.50 per person, this is incredible value. I have had afternoon tea at many London restaurants, including the Ritz and this is by far the best.

Fish and chips were great- with an Indian twist- we actually recommended this preparation to a friend at home. Home made banana bread and fabulous soups- overall a great unexpected simple but amazing meal!
