Dined here and wasn't expecting much from the food to be honest..but it was really very good indeed in my opinion .. had one of the nicest fillet steaks I have ever had, great puddings, fairly good wine. The jazz? It was Frank Sinatra Jr.. awesome... and Ronnie Scotts jazz band.. great.. just a fantastic place altogether..

Came here for my 21st, take at the front, champagne and jazz: can't beat it. Food is ok but to be honest it's eclipsed by the atmosphere and music.

We chose this place to have our teams Christmas dinner. A great choice. Great atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Service was good. Food order was taken promptly and the served very quickly. Music was excellent. Looking forward to another trip in the summer. Very worth the visit for anyone, even if you are not a jazz fan I am sure you will like it..

Had a table in front of the stage. Drinks were served promptly. Food was lovely. Music amazing. All in all an excellent evening. A little pricey for me as a regular venue but great for a special night. Perhaps a little criticism, seating very cramped and too many tables Ina very small area to be serving food. Hardly if not, no room for the staff to get around so once at your seat you can be stranded as the evening gets busier.

Visited for the 10.30 Saturday evening performance by Madeline Bell. Quite a long que at the door, yet it was fast moving, and coat check was efficient (£1 an item).

Madeline arrived on stage quiet early, with no warm up act, and was probably on stage for 45 minutes. That was too short!

Drinks service was slow when we were first seated, and very difficult to get any further service, so we were a bit dry come the end of the evening.

Madeline was great, although one quiet number was disturbed with bass sound from the downstairs bar.

Great to visit again, but felt a bit cheated on length of performance and service
