We ate here last week and we very pleased with our meal. We chose from the lunch menu and enjoyed three courses; we thought the service was impeccable and highly attentive. I loved the décor and charming little velvet booth we sat in. Chocolate marquis with dulce de leche and malt ice cream - the most delicious dessert I've had in a long time!
This is not our usual place to eat but very nice as a treat.

Tip - take a cardigan as the air-con was freezing (but needed in the heat outside)

We had a fabulous family meal in this restaurant with both fine food and wine. Although expensive I left feeling I had excellent value for money. We missed the night when Gordon Ramsey is swearing at his staff and customers but perhaps this was for the best. For a celebration it has few equals.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful except the main manager who was grumpy .Did not speak to us ,despite trying to chat to him .just refilled our glasses when passing us .He also looked scruffy compared with all the other staff.
We have eat here in the past and although the meal we had this time was enjoyable we felt it was not so special .Having said that the fillet steak was very tender and the pineapple soufflé was delicious .

Booked a table for lunch for three and chose the Historic menu. On each of the courses the waiter or waitress came to remove the plates without checking that we had all finished. OK they all apologised but it's not what you expect. Were they really trying to rush us ?

Food was good and great ambience

The visit was an evening meal for our anniversary. Although this is not our usual 'hangout' we were made to feel very welcome and our server was very entertaining. The food was another level. Every bite was amazing. The service was great, our server had a personality about him which made it entertaining, the service from everyone else was great. The wine service was very personal as well with recommending wine that would go with our food and our taste and then never letting our glasses empty. It was for our wedding anniversary and there was a special surprise at the end which was nice. Literally every course was amazing, I would go back tomorrow if I could!
