The menu has a number of elements with a big focus on steaks, pub classics as well as A'la carte dining. Look out for the great value set menus where 2 courses at lunch time are only £8.90 And the early dinner set menu is only £11.90. We offer friendly and efficient service in a warm atmosphere with great food, real ales and an extensive wine list families are welcome.

Having safely delivered my son back to uni nearby, I wanted him to have a decent meal as he'll be dining on pasta and ping meals until his next visit home! We chose Union Tavern from a search of local pubs/restaurants and I am so pleased we did.

To start we had a ham and cheese ravioli dish and a seafood & pesto casserole - both delicious. We both had the pork belly roast as our main course and it was an excellent choice, the pork was perfect and hit the spot. We couldn't manage a dessert and didn't even look at the options - we were far too full. At £12.95 for a roast or £13.95 for two courses, this is amazing value and in London too!

Great food, good service and a good atmosphere - we'll definitely be back for more.

We had been in for lunch and found the staff friendly and efficient, the food was great! Went to see a show then got a taxi back for a nightcap. Despite arriving at 22.28 and the posted bar opening time being until 23.00 the wouldn't serve us saying last orders had been called. We were a couple not a noisy group. Disappointed. Shame.

Moved just down the road recently so thought we'd try this place out for a Sunday roast. Lovely pub, great service and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.
