On our recent visit to this establishment our experience was sadly disappointing.
The quality of service by the waiting team was very slow.

Upon our arrival it took 15 minutes to order drinks and then an other 20 minutes to receive them. 25 minutes later we were able to place our food order. On both occasions we had to ask if we could please order now. The actual food was very nice. As we were sat near the door it somewhat felt like a blizzard was taking over our table, but wasn’t asked if we’d prefer the door shut. It also felt like a public urinal with members of the public constantly wandering in asking to use the loo. The service was so slow we decided we couldn’t bare to wait to order desserts even though they looked so appetising.

We had a pre-theatre dinner mid week and managed to get a table outside. the location is great and we had special offer 2 courses for £16 or 3 for £18. The food was very tasty and portions quite generous. The only downside was the service not so quick. We had to ask several times for the bill as we were under the time pressure to make to the musical. Other then that really good place as I’ve been eating there about 5 years ago and have returned now.

What a great setting, right on the edge of the market and a perfect place to relax after the shopping! The staff are great, always smiling and very efficient. The food is excellent and the menu has something for everyone. I think it's great value too, especially given it's prominent location. I'm happy to recommend Tuttons and will return for sure.

We are occasional visitors to the restaurant, and after giving a not so good review following a visit in April, I am pleased to see that the food has returned to its usual excellent quality. Good menu with a variety of food to suit most people. We had a starter of prawn, crab and advocada salad. Highly recommend and very different from the prawn cocktail of yester years which was usually served in a wine glass with very little prawns!! Only fault was the wait of 50 minutes before our main courses arrived. These mains were however just excellent.
