We went there on a Friday afternoon and I loved the atmosphere and the vibe. We had a lovely afternoon having drinks outside the Pub, have a cigarette, and enjoy the nice weather and the good vibe of fellow Brits. This Pub has a 2 century history at least. I loved it.

We grab an early dinner here and the food was great. We sat in the front and it's a little small but as it was just the two of us we felt fine in the corner. If you have a bigger group, ask to be seated in the restaurant section.

While in London, a co worker suggested having lunch here. We're glad he did! While it's a little challenging to find as most others expressed, it's worth it. It was interesting to read the history of Grenadier and the reasoning of the currency stapled to the ceiling throughout. While it first appeared odd that they take reservations for being a pub, we made reservations for 12:30PM. By 1:00PM, there wast an empty seat to be found. The food and service was great.

Visited on the recommendation of a friend, as group of eight we went for Sunday lunch. The Grenadier is quite hard to find, down in the crook of a private cobbled mews, which makes for a nice traffic free sun-trap on a sunny london afternoon. Top range of Ales (incl. the hard to find but excellent Tim Taylor's 'Landlord') and a typical Sunday roast menu. The portions were huge and quality great.

We had a small dog in tow and the staff were very accommodating, which is refreshing in central london. The only downside is that whilst back outside the pub, post lunch, the staff had to keep telling people to be quiet - this seems to stem from issues they have with the mews house owners nearby.

In summary, a great, quiet, little traditional 'local' london pub away from the hustle.

We were on foot and it took some time find this hidden gem stuck in a very nice residential cul de sac. Once we did, we were welcomed like old friends. The beer selection was excellent and we decided to stay for Sunday roast. My lamb was tasty and the chicken pot pie was tasty but a little dry. The roast beef for the roast was excellent according to the rest of our party. Find this place!
