The waiters/ waitresses were friendly and attentive. The food was very good and well cooked. The menu whilst not vast has more then enough to choose from and will suit vegetarians. price wise it is very reasonable.

This is the second time I have eaten here, and it was fantastic a second time. Well done guys. The restaurant has a great location along the river just next to the Shakespeare Globe theatre. Very friendly can do attitude from the staff. Last night we arrived with a 5 week old baby in a pram and a table was easily found. The restaurant has a very authentic decor with great low chairs. Both times( which have been Saturday's) there have been musicians playing great music. Reasonably priced, the soups are excellent along with all the main courses. Lamb features strongly, the shank and grilled lamb were excellent. They specialise in 'pide' which are something like an half folded pizzas. The beef option was also excellent. With so much choice in London you guys have made my list of 'recommend to visiting friends list' which is a compliment. Congratulations. Friendly staff, great food, great decor and atmosphere.

For a perfect evening start off from Waterloo bridge and walk down the embankment past all the street artists, musicians etc. The Tate modern is along the way, and in the simmer a performance at Shakespeare globe. A photo of st Pauls from the end of the millennium bridge is a London. Other sights nearby are of course borough Market on Saturday's and southwark cathedral. Londons second largest cathedral.

After going to an event at Tate Modern on a Sunday evening we stumbled on Tas Pide. One of the best dining experiences that I have had in London. Lovely service, relaxing live music, delicous food, reasonably priced wine and all fantastic value. I can't wait to go back. The one negative review is totally a one off. Perhaps they were offensive to the waiting staff?

Dear Traveler(s), please don't bother to waste your time at Tas Pide. My husband and I have been in London for 5 days eating out for each meal. Tas Pide had absolutely the slowest dining service I have ever witnessed in Europe. The restaurant was not even 1/3 filled with patrons. The only attentive staff is the young man who brings you bread and clears your plates from the table. We had to ask for the check three times over the course of 30 minutes. The worst table service we have ever experienced.

Having been to Turkey recently we are often hungry for Turkish food and it seems hard to find. We ordered the fixed price lunch. My husband is a vegetarian and that posed no problem ordering on the menu, there were many options. While I don't remember the exact price, I can tell you that it was a major bargain for London. The food was delicious and in ample amounts. This restaurant, in comparison to its sister Tas (also in London, also not to be missed) offers pide which is a fabulous Turkish form of pizza Very important:: it is not difficult to find. It is one street over from the Shakespeare Globe reconstruction. Not to be missed if you like Mediterranean food.
EXTRA HINT: We consistently eat lunch as our main meal when traveling. With London being one of the most expensive cities in Europe, this was especially important for us. Many restaurants offer great deals on fixed price lunches.
