We booked for an early New Year's Eve dinner for 4. The e mail communication was first class , speedy replies and helpful with our timings etc.
Then we get to the food, we all had whitebait and scallops, just great !,,,,
We then all had chateaubriand, cooked slightly differently, rare and medium. Arrived perfectly, yes it is served on a hot stone so can continue to cook a little
, so a tip would be maybe to go down a grade, so a medium maybe order medium rare, you can relax in the wonderful atmosphere while it slowly comes to your liking.
Food was more than excellent, cooked by a really pleasant lady who chatted to us as we left.
Food was equalled by the excellent service. We had 2 ladies, sorry not sure of names, but both were European I m sure. They were just perfect, just the right amount of service but so professional. They chatted after our dinner and are a serious asset to the business and the overall dining experience.
A must visit if you are in the area, it will be on my list whenever I'm around.
It is a really nice part of London and not to missed. Enjoy !!!!,
