Had a business dinner in Champor-Champor and I really loved it. We got a table in the basement which is a nicely decorated little space. The dishes were nicely presented and delicious. Everyone loved it. Definitely will visit again with friends.

“Need to sort their customer service out”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

We tried to eat here a few month ago and it was full, so we agreed to go back on our anniversary as it looked funky and smelt amazing. So 3 weeks ago I booked a table through open table. I asked them on the booking form if they could choose us a nice table as it was a special occasion. They didn't reply to the request, however on the acknowledgment email they did request that we vacate the table in two hours of our booking. On the day of the reservation I received a call from them confirming our booking, and again requesting that we vacate the table within two hours, I get it your busy you have two sittings but wow it's not very welcoming when on the two communications you have had all they are interested in is when you will be leaving, so we get there and we are the first people in the place at 6.30 and they lead us to our table, which is fitted into a corner, the walls are blood red and when I sat down it felt like being in a womb, I asked the waiter if there was another table we could have, there was one table up on a mezzanine which was way nicer but apparently that was booked by people that booked 2 days before us, amazing he knew that off the top of his head considering it was over 3 weeks go ! They had made absolutely no effort to honour my request of a good table although the waiter was adamant that the corner tables were the best after the mezzanine table. By this point we decided that we would take our business elsewhere, they couldn't have cared less, it's a shame we didn't get the chance to try the food, but with that type of customer service they can keep it, we ended up at Aqua Shard and had the most amazing evening.

“Birthday dinner for girl about town”
Reviewed 3 June 2014 via mobile

Three for dinner and we all shared a bit of each other's dinner. Two starters, soft shell crab and river prawn (?). Followed by the monkfish, snapper and the lamb shank. All nicely presented and very tasty, lots of different flavours. Followed by the chilli chocolate cheesecake, which we shared . We only had water so the bill was reasonable. Bathroom facilities were less than acceptable so that's why I marked you down. Fix it and you may get me back again some day

“Good & great location... Overprized!?”
Reviewed 25 May 2014 via mobile

Good food (not amazing), great location and very "warm" touch. I do think it is over prized so. You can easily spend 50/60£ each if you indilge in a bottle of normal wine!

“Malay gem”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

This place felt like a special find. The food was so beautifully presented, I was almost reluctant to dive into it. It tasted great too. Unusual funky decor. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome even though we were using a tastecard. Will be back.
