A great saturday night with great music in a great place for Jazz.
I have, in any case to say, that the food was quite embarrassing. The steak completely burnt on the top, the starter really pointless.
No spirits served at any time but a quite interesting selection of wines considering the level of the place.
In any case we went here for enjoying the music and that was absolutely superb.
in the end we spent 150 pound for 2 starter, 2 main course, 1 dessert, 3 bier and 1 bottle of wine ( 31 pound ).
A very fair price.
Nothing to say about the service that was perfect and impeccable. Considering also that the club was completely full, the level of kindness of the waitress was exceptional.

After a 2 year hiatus, I returned to London to dine at my favorite jazz club & restaurant in the city. I used to walk down the discrete metal stairway leading into the club on a monthly basis as the combination of good food and great music made it a memorable experience each and every time. This time the food was as I remembered. I started with duck pate followed by a generous duck leg and mash washed down with a few bottles of primitivo. The service was great as well. Don't forget that there is a £12 music charge for all guests in addition to food and drinks. My only slight negative would be that it seemed like they've really maximized capacity in a rather small space which could make it a bit uncomfortable for some. Others may feel that it adds to the ambience. Overall, less touristy than Ronny Scott's and better sound quality than the Boisdale.

The 606 is renowned as a jazz venue but the food we were served was equally brilliant. Six of us in our party in an absolutely packed out club on Sunday lunchtime, but service was good and everyone ate well. A bit cramped and packed in but it seemed to be acceptable and added to the atmosphere of the jazz cafe.

It's more a jazz Club than a restaurant. But the food was exceptional. One of the better steaks I've had in a long time, and the dessert - the honey & raisin cheesecake - was orgasmic. The music was great, the acoustics brilliant, the sax was amazing... the place is a bit cramped, but what the heck, it's well worth many visits.
