This pub is a graded building so it def has character when you come in, we had fish and chips, steak and chips and lamb chops with mash and they were all delicious. They are not mean with the portions...not too much but just right.

And in Stratford's Broadway. Have been going for years but never eaten there. My first time tried the Venison sausages and mash with fat chips followed by apple crumble with custard and all washed down by a good pint. It was surprisingly good. The pub have a few outdoor seating at the back (cant understand why they don't apply for seating in front...the space is there!). Only negative: they don't seem to be able to eliminate the smell of tobacco and spilled beer inside, reminiscent of a century of smoking and drinking! but that is what brings nostalgia back!

I'm surprised to see some of the poor reviews on here - I think the Eddies is the best pub in Stratford. The food is fantastic - a great selection of drinks. I love the interior and the general atmosphere. Staff have always been very welcoming and it seems that they put on quite a range of events (pub quiz, wine tasting etc) which I haven't yet been to but will soon. Service can be a little slow for food, but it's worth the wait and dishes do come together if you order together.

Quaint establishment in high street. Large Back room and outside area. Seems rather popular for drink. But the tables are sticky, making a person not wanting to touch it. Looking at the menu, they serve Indian food from 5-10pm. In saying that, I must admit that I find it rather annoying that non-british staff ruin the proper british pub experience. The barman is extremely rude and unwelcoming, talking indian on the phone in a loud voice; this is an experience not to repeated. Please also note that this is not a british pub, this is an iandian eatery.

The portion of my chicken roast was masive and very tasty for the price of £13. Bar staff were very welcoming and helpful. I went there for the first time and will deffinetly go back there with my friends.
