“Authentic Persian food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

The restaurant is quite small but the decor is purely persian and the food delicious. The bread is excellent and the meat is grilled on a special way that makes it special. If you have any chance to visit this place, please do, you won't regret it.

“Up and Down like a Yo Yo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 March 2014

I had the Excellent experience and the poor experience in this restaurant within 2 months.
The food quality, mainly the ingredient differs and you can tell it from the taste of their meat.
The menu is not limited but in my opinion the only good food on the menu is the minced beef kebab (Koobideh)
The bread is excellent.
You can buy your wine or beer from waitrose down the road and all in all if you are lucky and your visit happen to be in one of the times which the food is good then it's a very nice experience.

“Quaint little Iranian restaurant tucked away on a side-street”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 January 2014

The decor is really good and seems authentic. Very cozy and small and can get a bit cramped.

The chefs and the waitstaff are really friendly and nice. Not many vegetarian options on the menu. I had the Lady fingers stew with tomatoes and potatoes served with a plate of rice. Decent taste but I was expecting more spice. All in all pretty "meh" if you are vegetarian.

“spot on”

it's a tiny place with dingy decor but the food is excellent, the bread to die for and truly inexpensive.

“Teeny-tiny restaurant with excellent value, no-nonsense food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 January 2014

We phoned at half six on a Friday night, to ask if they had a table for nine at half seven. No problem, they said, but we had to be out by 9.
Turned up; squeezed in - it was *very* cosy. Asked the waiter for 'some food for all of us, about twelve pounds each' - it saves all the fuss of making a decision.
The food was good; the highlight was the super-bread (about a foot and a half in diameter) - perfectly cooked, fluffy and crunchy. Kebabs were well spiced; minced lamb kebabs weren't quite as popular but still good.
Overall price for nine of us: £106. Really good value. (BYOB; doesn't take cards.)
