What a great restaurant for families. You know if the place is filled with kids, it must be a good place for them. The menu was HUGE and there were many, many different items to choose from. The kids menu had a large selection as well, which is not something often found. Service was very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were served quickly and exactly as ordered. The best part of the meal was the Banana Waffle Split, for dessert. This was one amazing dish and I needed to fight off the family for my part.

We visited giraffe today after spending most of the afternoon walking up and down the bank taking in sights, we asked to see a menu to gauge the type food, we were pleasantly surprised to see brunch options! Mexican treats and your typical classics burgers and fries!! There was even curly kale smoothies, something for everyone even those health nuts!!!
My partner chose chicken tenders called firecrackers but there was no fire and the portion was small, I chose the shrimp with chilli and lime dressing my dish was definitely more like its description.
For main course we both chose the Mexican option, market burrito veggie option and Sean chose the chicken quesadillas, both portions were big, fairly well seasoned. we both would have preferred more fire etc jalapenos or chippotle , this would be simply matter of our taste safe, ( safe Mexican dishes to cater for the regular punter)
The staff were friendly and attentive, overall it was a good meal, and a nice shady pit stop on a very warm summer day.
Top tip : Cold strawberry & pear cider with fresh mint over lots of ice
Negtive tip:12.5 % service charged included on your bill, it says optional but we were to embarrassed to ask them to remove it!!
Worthy pit stop on the south bank

Went for dinner and drinks with some friends yesterday. Because we expected the place to be busy we booked a table a few hours before. It was a good move as the restaurant was packed. However, the staff was really friendly starting from the host to all our servers. The food came quickly and was tasty. The menu offers a variety of drinks for different tastes. All in all, the place is worth a visit.Good for friends and couples, not necessary for a quiet night out.

We were here for a childs birthday tea, we booked as I knew it would be busy on the Southbank and there were 8 of us. They moved us to a bigger better table as we needed a highchair. The service is good, staff are very friendly and sang Happy Birthday when they bought out the birthday girls desert. They do fab cocktails (on happy hour too) and didn't try to rush us out of the restaurant even though they had people queueing out the door. Also gave balloons and crayons etc to the kids - standard practice for Giraffe restaurants.
