We ordered take away to be delivered. Having discovered that the excellent wonderful Choys in the kings road had closed down after many decades we were devastated and decided to spoil ourselves with the best take away we could find. Having eaten in at the restaurant we thought it would be the closest we could get to Choys, not quite there but closest. The takeaway could have been cooked by a different restaurant, all waaaay too spicy contrary to descriptions and flavours not clear with all the different dishes becoming indistinguishable. This was not the treat we had hoped for. We may order again but without such high expectations and only if we are feeling flush!

Picked up the takeaway menu for Mr Wing as an easy food option the night before flying out of London. The Food was over priced (11.50 for a small starter of calamari?!) and distinctly overrated. The portions were small and rather average in taste, with the worst part being the delivery time (delivery being an option they enthusiastically promote in the hotel flyers.) It took over 1 hr 20 for the food to arrive despite the restaurant only being several blocks away. Although the owner was apologetic on the phone i definitely wouldn't recommend this place for chinese take out. Take your order somewhere else!

I needed a good place to dine one spontaneous Sunday night after I was lucky enough to take out a beautiful lady on a first date. It needed to have the wow factor.

Where else can you dine out in London with a tropical fish tank that fills an entire wall, with gentle sound of background water from the small waterfall? Mr Wing in Chelsea of course.

The food was pretty tasty although the portion sizes a tad too small. The choice of wine was pretty respectable and we went with a £40 bottle of white that had a soft taste

The atmosphere was pretty relaxed, and the tables weren't too close together so there was reasonable privacy and comfort.

Overall I would recommend a night at Mr Wing, it's definitely a experience to be had.

Use to go to Mr. Wing very often many years ago, and had always excellent food in a lovely atmosphere, that is why I decide to try again.
The restaurant was empty compare to what it was and the atmosphere not there any more, the food was average, the service good and the waiters very helpful. But definitely not the same restaurant it use to be, maybe will try again in few years.

We visited on a quiet evening, without a reservation and expected the place to be busier than it was. We had a lovely corner table on the ground floor (there is a larger floor in the basement) and the "live" background music helped create a really pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. The food - which is mainly Chinese but with a few different Asian influences - was generally okay. Nothing that we felt was great and nothing that was poor. Portions are a little small, particularly for the prices charged. The food service is a little too quick.... suggesting that dishes are not made to order! It is a little bit of a shame that the food does not match the quality and ambience of the restaurant.
