I don't have an option on Trip Advisor for Good - only Average or Very Good. I would categorise this as Good, because it is what it is - part of a chain.

The mixed/poor reviews here are mainly because of people's expectations, but this is not THE IVY. And what it offers is a great location, glamorous interior and, rightly or wrongly, tourist prices. Having said that, and once you accept that, it's really not that bad at what it does.

It's a great place for a celebratory meal or lunch with friends. And yes, it's pricey, on the expensive side, and the service can be hit and miss, but it has a buzz about it and the food is reasonably good for a chain.

Excellent food as usual but overall, not as good as the Bristol branch.
Service from the waiting staff was excellent but the tables in the garden are too close together for a comfortable feeling and private conversation.

We came here for drinks and a late lunch. Nice little spot, very spacious with a good atmosphere. Drinks menu is really good, and all our drinks were presented beautifully and were delicious. Food was ok. Service could have been better. Still an enjoyable experience

I recommend this restaurant highly because if it’s lovely ambiance, yummy food, and welcoming waiters. Y shouldn’t leave London before visiting it. Price is excellent compared to the quality of food u r getting. Garden is sooo beautiful.

I visited The Ivy last Friday for a client meeting for the first time and I'll certainly never be returning. We were a group of 6 and were positioned next to the bar (so very much in sight), It was 10.30am and we'd reserved a table for coffees and not one single waiting staff came to take our order for whole duration of our meeting (one hour). I was absolutely appalled and not to mention hugely embarrassed in front of two of our very important clients we were looking after. This is just completely unacceptable no matter where you dine but I expected more from somewhere like this. We left having ordered nothing and feeling very annoyed. Note - perhaps don't have three girls on the front desk in charge of the cloakroom and instead have them on the floor serving. It was 10.30am so not even busy! Very unhappy customer and will not be recommending this place to anyone.
