Do not venture into this dump and expect to be served in less than about 20 minutes. Expect to wait whilst the unsmiling staff try to pour pints, re-stock the fridges, serve meals, change casks in the cellar all at the same time.

The best skill the staff here have is the unerring ability to serve the person who has been waiting the least time. You can often be there 20 minutes waiting to be served and then the person who has just arrived beside you gets served first. Do NOT complain about this, as you will only get a surly, snarling reply, and have another 10 minutes added to your wait. Horrible place, horrible staff.

I came to JJ Moons on a Friday in August and overall I was not impressed, there were lots of cask ales that weren't on and the pub had a bad decor which was in desperate need of modernisation. The only positive point was the price, which is cheap for London.

Unfamiliar with the area and needing somewhere to eat dropped in and was pleasantly surprised. As with all Spoons plenty of real ale at great prices and the food was fab took advantage of Steak Tuesday. Don't assume cheap means poor quality the Steak was as good as anything I've had elsewhere but at less than half the price. Staff were lovely and used the app for the first time, works like a dream. A few colourful characters but an oasis in the middle of South London, handy as well right outside Tooting Broadway Tube

I enjoyed a nice steak at this Tooting branch of Wetherspoon. It was very busy and I felt fortunate to find a table in this crowded saloon. However the staff were very good, polite and helpful. My meal arrived very quickly considering how busy they were.

so I decided to come to wetherspoons with one of my friends on my day off, I come here once a month normally and everything is satisfactory. so today I decided to order food, I came at 10 mins to 10 before the kitchen closed to order 3 item from the menu before the kitchen closed. but was waiting for atleast 5mins before this before getting served that's not a problem. I wanted to order three of the small plates and the lady who was serving me was obviously new because she asked chase who is the team leader for help when trying to find where the grilled halloumi on the till. he came over and said the kitchen was closed. I then went back to my table and check my phone for the time, it was 22:01 so I went back to the team leader called chase. I reckonised his title so he could most likely solve this situation for the untrained staff on a Friday night, although it didn't seem as busy as it normally is. so I told him about my situation that I'd been with my bartender placing my order for the last 5minutes he told me he couldn't do nothing, the kitchen turns everything off by 10pm. it would then take a further 2 hours to turn everything on again to reach the right temperature, if something had been turned off for 1 minute, I know the temperature would not change so much especially as I was ordering food which would be cooked in the fryer which takes atleast 3 hours to cool down. so I really don't understand why he was so hostile towards me and at one point stating I could sit down or leave. This type of person didn't seem to care about customer service or have any compassion, as team leader he should of been able to be a bit more compassionate about the situation rather than adding fuel to the fire. I would not have wrote a review, it only because he essential is apart of management and did not give one care, he sounds like he was Australian or south African or from new Zealand. I'm really unhappy and it ruined a wonderful day for me.
