We had a family reunion here last Sunday on a really warm day and it was heaving! That said the service was good. The food was good considering the numbers that were being fed. The venue is lovely, noisy and almost unpretentious. I would like to return on a day that was less busy but that maybe never, it seems very popular given it is a stones throw from the Heath. Overall good.

This is a lovely looking pub with a great beer garden in a beautiful location. I went with a group of friends for drinks and dinner. When we sat down for dinner we ordered starters to share and were having a great time and were so busy chatting that when we decided to finally order our mains, we were told the kitchen was now closed but no-one told us. After a discussion with the manager, the chef kindly cooked us our chosen mains. The night was not ruined. After reading other reviews, I agree that the customer service lets the place down. The manager however was great.

We went for a Friday long lunch, and weren't at all disturbed while we whiled away the afternoon chatting, the helpful and easy going service made this place a gem in the middle of London.
Food had a fixed price menu till 6 which was really good value, tasty and a wide range of choice including lamb kebabs with a tasty tomato relish, only wish there was more of it. The Chicken scaloppini came out a little greasy, but the salad helped even that out.
Really good for meetings midweek as well as evening buzz.
A great place just off the Heath, we will be going back.

Excellent pub with good food. The added bonus for us was a dog friendly pub, ideal after a walk on the Heath.
