While the location is more suited to business travelers than sightseeing tourists, having the central liverpool street tube stop next door makes this a very convenient spot. Once you walk in the door, CALM. Our confortable room was standard for a hotel room and perhaps even slightly generous for London. Our bathroom is modern ( heated towel racks!) and clean. Towels are replenished twice a day (they still have turndown service!). The minibar is well appointed and barring beer and spirits, everything is free -- cookies, water, juice, soda. Downstairs, there is a nook in the lobby with free fruit in the morning, canapés in the evening, and tea and juice all day. A tip: Eastway serves an English breakfast ('fry up') that is quite good. Reserve thru toptable uk and you get the breakfast with coffee/ tea for GB 12. Across the street, the white hart also serves a traditional pub breakfast (although they don't open until 10am) for GB 5. Finally, the Cornish pasty stand next door ( in front of the tube station ) is a great place for a quick lunch or mid afternoon snack without breaking the bank.

Thank you very much for choosing to stay here at Andaz Liverpool Street. I am delighted to read you had a very nice stay with us. The location is not just for business traveller guests, the hotel is only a five minute walk to Shoreditch and Hoxton where you will find boutiques shops, art galleries, street art and markets. The hotel is also only a short walk to Spitalfields Market which has plenty of shops and restaurants. Heading South when leaving the hotel, if you walk towards the river Thames, you will see the Tower of London and Tower Bridge and a little further down along the river is Tate Modern. There is plenty more sites to visit so next time you visit us, don’t hesitate to ask one of the Andaz Hosts for more tips. In the meantime, I look forward to welcoming you back to Andaz Liverpool Street in the near future. Best, Arnaud

Dear Sian,
Thank you so much to you and the Andaz Team (including your Eastway bar and 1901 restaurant staff) for all the support, help and organisation in the run up to my sister's baby shower & 30th birthday celebrations and on the big day itself. The service at your establishment has been exemplary (always warm, engaging and highly professional) and because of this my sister and her guests had a fantastic experience! We will certainly be recommending you and your establishment to friends and family!
With appreciation. Warmest Regards,
Mrs Lawrence, London UK

Heard criticisms based on room size which were completely unfounded. Good, if unnecessarily fussy, reception and check in but accommodation was very good. Well sized rooms and well equipped space. Welcome touch was free healthy minibar which was helpful and valuable when a little thirsty in the evening! Bit pricey but would certainly consider staying here again. Didn 't get to visit gym, but will look up next time !

We stayed here for one night while we were in London and absolutely loved it! The location is fantastic, very easy to get to by public transport.

Room was fab, not huge but perfectly adequate- who goes to London to sit in the loo!?

We were lucky to have fantastic weather the weekend we went and the hotel was perfectly air conditioned.

We had a few drinks in the pub across the road- very reasonably priced! Fab wine for the price. We booked dinner at The Hawksmoor about 10 minutes walk away. The walk was throught the 'city' and at around 7 on a Friday night was desolate. We worried the restaurant would be quiet but thats couldn't be further from the truth! The restaurant was fantastic and worth going to London just for the rib-eye and onion rings alone!!!

We didn't have any problems with noise in the hotel, no problems with the 'waterworks' as some others have reported. Breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had in the hotel- sausages to die for!!!!! I was so impressed- especially to see seasonal rhubarb out with the fresh fruit.

We love this hotel, it is now our new favourite in London (we usually go to The May Fair) and we can't wait to visit again and also visit some other Andaz's.

You will not regret your stay at this hotel. We only were here 2 nights on a layover to another destination. We wanted to see this part of London. You will not have a better stay anywhere else. Right next door to the subway station makes for easy access to any part of the city. We were within walking distance to the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge.
What makes this hotel is the staff. From the doorman to the bartender in George's, they all excel. Kelly showed us to our room, made recommendations on where to eat and what to see. She also showed us the hidden Masonic Temple. It's a must do. She especially showed exceptional hospitality.
What is also nice are the little extras, the juice in the mini fridge, the wine and appetizers in the lobby in the evening and in the morning we were able to grab a coffee and pastry at the coffee bar before running out to catch our plane.
We ate at George's and the Mac and cheese with bacon was so good my husband ordered it the next night for room service:)
