Very modern, stylish and clean. Unfortunately took me 2 days to discover there was a robe and slippers in a hidden wall cabinet. Hotel has a lovely bar, and pub attached. As well as a formal very small elegant dining area. The lobby is strange - there is no formal reception desk. It's supposed to be informal as you walk up and they check you in while standing next to you at a computer, but it's hard to figure out where to put your purse down to get your passport out and you don't really know who to walk up to when you arrive...not best concept. There is a really nice complimentary area to get coffee/water and cookies they leave out. Noone told me about it though, I just found it. Someone did very carefully shake me down though when I was there "excuse me madam, what room are you in again?" - basically to make sure I wasn't just homeless and helping myself I suppose!
Healthclub is small but adequate and very CLEAN and POSH locker area. If your in London for business its great - free WiFi. but if your traveling for leisure - you could find a better area for nightlife/dining.
There is a cocktail / Champagne bar that is beautiful and I loved it!

We went to the Andaz for our 1st wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. I am a Hyatt Passport holder and between that and the special occasion, we were given a bottle of wine, an upgrade to a corner suite and a late checkout, all with compliments of the hotel.

The hotel itself is very trendy and modern and ideally situated in buildings adjoining Liverpool St station. We stayed at the weekend, when there's hardly anything going on in the city (except for the fantastic spitalfields and brick lane markets close by).

The room was amazing with high ceilings, original furniture and art and a free minibar (albeit a "healthy" one, containing juices and snanks etc), ipod dock and nespresso machine. The bed was huge and extremely comfy.

The interior areas of the hotel are all very cool and the seated checkin was novel. Room service, checkin staff and concierge were all prompt, friendly and professional.

Hello pg7733,

We are so pleased to read that you enjoyed your wedding anniversary stay with us as well as the complimentary upgrade, amenities and late check-out. We're also delighted that you liked the location of the hotel and the local markets. Next time you must also visit the Columbia Road flower market which is only a short walking distance from the hotel.

We look forward to welcoming you again at the Andaz.

Best wishes,
Arnaud de Saint Exupery

Stayed 2 nights for our daughter's wedding.
Melika the wedding planner was so kind and helpful, so calm too! She took care of lots of things and she reassured and helped us when we needed it
Cathy managed to relax & enjoy her wedding day thanks to the great staff who were friendly and available to see to anything we needed and they also seemed to enjoy the wedding with us. The breakfast next day (for our party only) was a nice touch as we got together with friends & family before going home.
Really enjoyed the wedding dinner, perfectly cooked beef and delicious chocolate fondante (with a lovely gooey centre) in fact all the food was very good.
Thank you Andaz for making it a very special wedding
I hope to come back

I am a regular visitor to this hotel when I am in town on Business.
Pros: Very friendly staff - welcoming from the moment you walk through the door, fast and easy check in / out process, early check in if required, very comfortable beds, clean and large rooms, free minibar, 'welcome treat' (brownies, nachos, etc), power shower, fluffy towels
Cons: Layout of the room is a little strange sometimes (e.g no plug near mirror so cannot use heated appliance on hair and see in mirror at the same time), no make up mirror with good lighting, rooms cold in temperature, tvs too small for size of room
There is free wifi and also a gym, but I have never used these so cannot comment. The breakfast is also very good, buffet with a lot of choice. Lots of choice of restaurants nearby and right next to train station. Overall, an excellend choice - I always stay there when I in London

We stayed at the Andaz Liverpool for our London pitstop in early September and absolutely loved it. Details as follows:

Pros:
- Awesome friendly service from the front staff. We came directly from Heathrow from a 10-hour direct flight from LA, so we were really tired. Arrived at Andaz mid-morning and was praying that they would give us a room even though check-in was 3pm...and they did! No having to haggle or beg for a room and the gentleman checking us in didn't make any fuss or mention of having to accommodate us. He even helped us bring our luggage to our room even though it wasn't his job.
- Rooms are clean, sleek and quite spacious.
- Close to the Liverpool station and quite convenient when taking public transportation
- Close to clubs like Shoreditch, Fabric, etc.
- Free wifi in the room and some items in the mini-bar are complimentary (standard Andaz)
- Relatively reasonable rates

Cons:
- Because we came before check-in time, we were assigned a worse room than we probably would have gotten had we checked in later. We were on the 2nd floor, above some very noisy pipes. Every time we turned on the water, banging pipes would sound.
- A bit far from usual major tourist attractions and shopping; however, it's easy to take the metro around what with the Liverpool station being stone's throw away.
