My new favourite place to eat/hang in London hands down, you're well looked after by genuine friendly staff, the choice on the menu was awesome and the food was the best. Great veggie options too!
We left Waffle Jacks full of good vibes and good food, big ol smile on our faces. 5 stars easy.

Been here a few times now.
Always a great experience, very friendly and well looked after,
The owner is a great guy that makes this place what it is.
He's very accommodating friendly approachable will do anything to make your experience a good one,

Food is good , good size portions and tasty. With a good variety.

Service on a previous occasion hasn't been so good a boss wasn't there
Decor is a little worn and tables need to be re covered
Front door needs a spring on it to close as windy and door comes open , quite chilly,

But don't let this put you off .
I'm recommending and re visiting

The staff are good, the boss seems on the ball but I feel ripped off.
My daughter had a NYC brekkie but £8 is pretty scandalous considering the bacon is cooked beyond crispy but I've had worse in the services on the motorway tbh.
Now to my huge complaint - I had the French toast and the closest comparison I can give it is basically eggy bread, oh and the bacon crunch. The bread had no hint of any sweetness, no cinnamon, no caramelisation at all. And I got charged £6 for this.
I'm sure the rest of the menu is perfectly good but for breakfast I will certainly avoid.
My daughter loves American restaurants but did not enjoy her food either 😞

Hi

Thank you for your review. We have always perceived our portions to be of a generous proportion including the NYC, it's the American way ! I would like to apologise that the bacon was cooked more than what your preference is, but saying that, we do like our bacon very crispy.
With regards to the French Toast, we do not serve our French Toast as cinnamon or sweet in any shape or form and I think if you have another look at our menu you will notice that there is no indication of what you would have liked your French Toast to taste like. As a matter of fact, there are hundreds of different ways that French Toast is prepared but we do it the way we do it which is the traditional way with egg only. We do serve maple and grated cheese on the side as well as crispy bacon with the dish as standard.

Kind Regards
The Owner

We visited with a Groupon deal on a Saturday evening. It does seem to get very busy. The wait for our food wasn't long at all and the staff are very friendly.
We had the sliders, a selection of burgers, fries and onion rings. It was nice and a good sized portion. We had the brownie and chocolate cake for dessert with ice cream. The chocolate mug cake was very nice. The Mexican drinks were good too. We would definitely go again.
