Charley’s company really lived up to its name as Charley, Jasmin, and Maurice expertly tailored their Best of London tour to balance the needs of a young teen with boundless energy and a mom with some mobility challenges. We marched with the guards, rode on the London Eye, munched at the Borough Market, gawked at the Crown Jewels in the Tower, and gazed at St. Paul’s from a high perch. There is no place for the stodgy and the rote in their tours. Rather, they brought London alive with tales about the bridges, the dragon statues at the city boundaries, and the colorfully-named buildings, like the Cheese Grater, the Walkie Talkie, and the Shard. Most importantly, they brought a sense of fun to the tour, and isn’t that really what it is all about?

Look no further for a tour company of excellence!! Charley took the time prior to our trip to learn about our group to put together the perfect tours for us. We did the Borough Food Market tour and Royal Highlights tour as a group of 7 and then split an afternoon with the boys doing a pub tour and the girls a shopping afternoon in Nottingham Hill. Charley gave us some fantastic VIP tastings in Borough Market. There was bacon sandwiches, sausages, cheese, chocolate, and then diverted over to The Gladstone Arms finishing at a cute hidden Italian market. She even graciously offered to assist with advice on our other plans during our stay!! Alan showed us around London hitting the highlights and taught us how to ride the Underground. He dotted the tour with a quirky sense of humor that kept us laughing but certainly educated us on Kensington Palace, the Horse Guard, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Beatrice took us girls over to Paddington Street in Nottingham Hill for some amazing shopping in the famous stalls. She also showed us some of the movie locations in the area as well as took time for a cream tea. Each thing that we did was so very memorable and I highly recommend using London Tailored Tours when visiting London!! It’s money well spent!!

Got stuck in London because of a snow storm. Luckily, Charlie was very responsive with my emails and was able to set up a tour within an hour. The tour was great and she showed us everything one could in such a short timespan. She was extremely knowledgeable about London and would use her services again!
