I visited to celebrate Communion Music's 10th Birthday and absolutely loved HOV as a music venue. Small enough to be intimate, but not so small it's uncomfortable.

Great sound system, and it was so cool watching a gig underground within a labyrinth of tunnels!

The only downside is it is super warm. It was still beginning of September so we were enjoying the dregs of summer, but dress lightly!

Awesome little skate park too; I'd love to visit in the day.

Thank Anya L

Had two 16 years old at home in July and then really enjoyed the afternoon they spend there skating. They registered online first, all free, had to get parents authorisations as they were going on their own. They offer different session time for skating and rollerblading. They also do courses I think. I believe everything offered there is free, including some music concerts, films etc. It is indoor which is convenient when you are not sure about the weather.

I have been here many times and I always like it. The venue is great and free access to everything. The good thing is to subscribe to their mailing list to be aware of all the events going on.

The cafe is nice, simple menu and very kind service, american dirty burgers and fried chicken.

Staff is very friendly.

Not easy to find, but worth the visit as here is London's only indoor skateboarding centre - and it is free! A safe and friendly environment, the first House of Vans in Europe (the other is in New York). There is also a cafe and bar and a programme of art exhibitions, cinema and live music, with the contemporary additions respecting the unique atmosphere of the old brick arches which support the station above along with branding and memorabilia from the House of Vans.

A great place for young people (or young at heart).

Thank Ian C
