Description: Elegant and understated, The Thomas Cubitt in Belgravia embodies the epitome of the English aristocracy: restraint, reserve and royal connections. Named after the master builder The Thomas Cubitt attracts the Boden-clad Belgravia brigade as well as posh food lovers all the way from Primrose Hill and St John's Wood. A chic place for Sunday roasts and cosy evening meals, the first floor dining room is decorated with pearly grey walls and oak flooring, and the light-filled, wood-panelled ground floor bar is ideal for pre-dinner drinks.

Enjoy the fun atmosphere of port work drinks and, if you've drunk a bottle of their Cubitt Rose, tasty food. Their higher prices are justified as the food is consistently excellent.

Nice place.
We were lucky enough to get a table outside and spent an unhurried afternoon drinking a very nice "Thomas Cubitt" Pimms in the sunshine

Always had a crowd flowing out onto the tables out front. The menu was not large, but we always found something tasty to eat. The desserts are really worth holding room for!

This is a special pub experience as the menu is quite different from the others, yet, it also has some old stand-bys like fish and chips, which one in our party had and said was delicious. I went for two light dishes - a spinach salad and a dish of fried squid, artichokes and, interestingly, lemon slices. Very light batter and in my view 'correct' portions (not huge, not small).

We sat at a table outside on a bit of a rainy day and got a little wet, sot that´s something to watch out for as the awning doesn´t stretch very far out. Friendly service as well as friendly patrons at nearby tables, an enjoyable lunch!
