The location is very good. Eclectic, near the tube and bus line and Kensington and Hyde Parks with lots of places to eat and drink. We stayed in the "executive apartments" for 6 nights and if we could have changed hotels we would have, but we had to pay the full amount on check in. There is no air conditioning and it was warm in London. the windows opened and we got a fan, but it was still very hot and very uncomfortable the entire time. Our room was also noisy. The shower was also extremely small for anyone with broad shoulders. There was wifi in the small lobby area but only a few places to sit. We asked for help a few times from the front desk staff (for a fan, to refund change, even for a map of the area). They seemed to want to help but really had no way to help. This was only one notch above a hostile. We do not recommend the facility. We also had a family member traveling with us who had a room. Their experience was the same with the exception that their room was some cooler with the fan.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back of the hotel are quieter than on the street side. Ask for a fan in the summer. A...

This was the most awful travel experience ever. These apartments are anything but "executive". We arrived to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were given the key to a tiny room in the basement. it was unbelievably hot, there was damp on the walls, the bed was thin and lumpy and there wasn't even a mirror in the bedroom. It was like a travellers' hostel. We complained and were basically told we had no alternative so we checked out and moved into the Grand Royale Hotel across the road where we were treated like royalty. Hyde Park Executive Apartment staff were rude and unhelpful and would not even consider a refund. I hope I never set foot in a place like this ever again!

Room Tip: Stay at the Grand Royale instead - 4* and the same price!

Stayed here several times and its the great location and value for money that keeps me coming back - for Central London this is a bargain

Rooms are clean with kitchen and bathroom. Good storage space and sufficient for my needs.

I don't wish to stay in a palace or I'd book into the Dorcester.

First of all these are NOT apartments! I was in the Executive Club 'Apartment'. It was the size of my teenage daughter's bedroom at home, i.e. could fit a small double bed (against the wall so one of you has to climb over the other to get in), one single chair in front of the window, and a counter on one side of the room with sink, small fridge under and hob over. There was a small closet at the foot of the bed. THAT'S IT!
How is that an apartment?!? The bedding was tired and sad. Mattress lumpy, pillows flat as pancakes, sheets threadbare. It is on a busy road with student hostels either side so lots of noise morning to night and you can leave the shades open as everyone can look right in.
I suspect that this was originally a student hostel which has since been 'upgraded' and now they call themselves 'executive apartments'. I don't understand how a small room, without even partitions can be called an apartment!
Upside...it was clean...tiny but clean shower room ensuite. That's it.
Last time I stayed 5 mins down the road at Notting Hill Apartments by Bridgestreet ....PROPER apartments... way better....same price or cheaper. Quiet, clean, and well worth the money.
Would NOT stay at Hyde Park Exec again!

The Hotel is in a good location close by to underground stations. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are very small but fine for a place to rest.

My only complaint would be the noise during the night coming from outside the hotel.

My wife and I booked a medium luxury apartment for 2 nights. The word "luxury" should be removed, there is nothing luxurious about this accommodation. We were on the ground floor with 2 windows, one had a view of a wall, and the other also had a view of a wall, both were overlooked by other guests. The kitchen had 1 x tea spoon, 1 x dessert spoon, 2 forks and 2 knives. We were not planning to eat in anyway but that's not the point. There were no sharp knives to cut anything if we had decided to cook. There was a kettle but no Cafetiere, should we have wanted a proper coffee.

Despite all this, the location is great and that was the main reason we booked it. We were going to The Albert Hall on one evening, its just across Kensington Park, the underground line is also nearby so we moved around London with ease. I would stay again but you could get a Travelodge in London cheaper and still have the same facilities. We paid £100 per night, so I have no real complaints. If anyone ever pays the full amount that is shown on the website, they would feel well and truly cheated.

Clean, well equipped and comfortable apartment. Bit of noise from outdoor smokers disturbed me during night. Otherwise, good place to stay. Staff all helpful and polite.

£5.00 to store my bag after check out seemed a little cheeky.
