Rooms nothing like the pictures. No nice pictures on the walls, no throws or cushions and the walls were badly scuffed. Everything was bland and unmaintained.

Walls thin as paper... Could actually hear the neighbours cutlery on their plates as they ate, heard the neighbour snoring, constant noise throughout the night.

Met a couple of ladies the next morning in the lift as I went to get a hair dryer from reception. They were as unhappy as I was about the accommodation.

Free wifi was available from the small reception area only, and unfortunately I could not get 4G in the basement located 'apartment' (had to use apostrophes here... It hurts to even refer to the cell we had as an apartment).

Further, the fire door outside our 'apartment' closing mechanism did not work meaning the door did not close, even when pushed to. Somewhat disconcerting as this appears to be one of the firebreaks between two of the buildings making up the apartment blocks.

One other disturbing safety factor, the external door was wedged wide open. We entered at 11.30pm with not even a look up from the night receptionist (who I couldn't see as he was not sat at the reception, but in the little office at the side of it. The door was open and I turned and looked in. He did not even notice). Not sure what the point of the security fob they gave me when I checked in.

On the street, prior to entering their was groups of young men sat around together outside the hostel a few houses down, and another scruffy building between Hyde park exe. apartments and the hostel. It did not feel particularly safe. You can imagine my concern that the apartments were not even secure with the door wedged open.

This was not a good experience by any stretch of the imagination. Find somewhere else is my advice. Whether you take that advice or not is up to you.

From the description of 4 star and professional looking images I was looking forward to our stay however upon arrival quickly realised this was little more than a hostel, just a fancy title. Rooms were tiny, stuffy no air to mention which meant sleeping almost an impossibility. I've been in bigger hotel bathrooms. Ok so it was clean but I didn't feel likei had had a four star experience at all.
So the price is good for Central London so if you want to just put your heat down for a night ok ( best I winter, might just be ok heat wise then) but don't advertise as executive luxery city life living. Living. The city life DOES NOT resemble this

Room Tip: Don't bother

Stayed here with wife and two kids for one night recently.Do not be fooled by the description or professional images. These are not executive apartments. They are small claustrophobic and extremely hot sweat boxes with no air conditioning. They have inadequate and uncomfortable seating for relaxing after returning from a long day having visited the tourist spots. Over the years I have stayed in many self contained apartments in different parts of the world and this has to rank as one of the worst in terms of size, comfort , services and price
The 27 inch tv is an absolute joke. The tv reception within the apartments only allows access to BBC 1,2 ITV and Ch4
I for one wouldnt waste my money staying here again

Room Tip: Go elsewhere

Hotel, or rental room? Not enough to be any of it, I think. As a hotel, it's a nice room, big with a little kitchenette, a bit hot, but the building is very old, so it's ok. In daytime. In night's with open window, very loud neighbourhood. Reception open 8-24. But in a hotel you will have some cleaning! It's not provided unless you stay more than 7 nights! And not readable in the text before entering. It can be done, pay 15£ extra, but then the trash will not be taken out! And the interest from the hotel to sell such cleaning is zero. (Alot of guests were queing at the reception to ask about cleaning!)
If you think of it as a rental room, then the kitchenette must have a kitchen fan, and a frying pan! There is internet but no wifi, but with a travel router of your own, you can have steady free wifi all time. The elevator is functioning, that's good!
Reception answered to alot: "this kind of hotel..." as if I was stupid, but I have lived in a kitchenette room at Notting Hill, with cleaning and new towels every other day, about same price, and right across the street, no cleaning, no elevator, but alot cheaper!

We booked a Medium Luxury Suite which is definitely a misnomer. We had very basic accommodation, with the double bed pushed up against the wall, thus having to climb up into bed. The room was extremely stuffy and since our window overlooked a walkway therefore we could not keep our window open.
There was no wi-fi in the room and there were 6 channels on TV, one of which was so out of sync that it was unbearable to watch. The glass splash back was cracked and the rubbish bin was more of a bucket, meaning that any food items thrown in the bin could be smelled in the bedroom since this is a studio apartment arrangement.
On the bright side, the location was perfect with Queensway and Bayswater underground within walking distance and the neighbourhood was a very pleasant one.

Stayed here over the weekend had ticket for showboat cruise on Thames. Room was very small and incredibly hot, thank goodness there was a fan in there. Had to have the fan on all night, which was noisy. There was no mirror on the wall so I could not see to dry my hair. Overpriced for the size of the room, sold as medium luxury suite ! Deceptive photos on website.
