The chicken rogan josh was blatantly from a jar, had zero taste and the portions were really small. My girlfriend had a chicken dopiaza which was also very tasteless and didnt look home made as you would expect from a 'curry house'. Another thing to add is the amount of chicken the curry actually contained, we had approximately 5 small pieces of frozen chicken in our whole meals...We were also offered poppadoms and dips when we sat down which we presumed were complimentary, however these were added to the bill at the end without anyone informing us of this which was just a disappointment after the very poor meal we had just eaten. I wont be attending here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

We came here for the first time 11/07/04 and would never go back. The Mixed kebab starter was so hot you could not taste the difference in any if the meat And Everything including the pickles were watered down. The Rogan josh was like ratatouille very watery & the chicken curry was like soup!! The nan was burnt and rice had a saffron overload what ruined the taste. Very very expensive meal nearly £40 and we only and 1 Coke & a beer!!! Very disappointing felt totally ripped off!! Never again.

What does a non cook do when dinner party planned and wife (who is an excellent cook) has to work? Time to call on friends for help. Shakil who owns cooks and manages Khans has been a friend for the 30 years I have enjoyed his food and company. So it's a take out with a difference. Uncooked. Tandoori Chicken lamb chops, Lamb burgers ALL ready to BBQ. The result is excellent. BBQ makes the flavour very authentic (and yes it was Tandoor hot!). Couldn't resist a Beef Jeff and Lamb Karhi (cooked of course) and ended up with a veritable feast. So for cheats or those less earth father type males of this world who love a BBQ why not contact Shakil and ask for the ingredients to make a BBQ you will never forget. Even got salad and rice for those odd people who want something other than MEAT to eat! Cheers mate. Another disaster saved!

We had family up for the weekend so ordered 6 currys with rice naan and Poppadoms. The price was more expensive than some takeaways but we had heard good reviews so thought we would give it a go anyway. We ordered through just eat and it stated if you spend over £30 you get a free bottle of wine we thought great we'll order! It took 90 mins to deliver after being told it would take 60, when it finally arrived they had got our order wrong and hadn't delivered the bottle of wine either. When asked the delivery lady she 'oh we must not have had any in the fridge'. She didn't seem to be too bothered or apologetic. Appalling service of a takeaway and we will not be ordering from here again.
