“A really lovely place to visit”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

Fairy Dell is an interesting parkland area that is located between the Marton and Coulby Newham areas of Middlesbrough. It is a lovely place to visit - especially in the summer months when all the leaves are on the trees. Within the park there is an extensive network of footpaths that enable the different parkland areas to be explored. As well as the ponds, there are some lovely wooded sections and there are lots of nice places to sit and enjoy a picnic. There are no amenities available (such as toilets or food kiosks) and there are no substantial car parking facilities available - although road-side parking is possible in many of the areas around the park. It’s a great place to spend a few peaceful (or active) hours - depending upon the intent of your visit.

“Beautiful”

This area on the outskirts of Middlesbrough is tranquil and very beautiful. The shaded areas make it comfortable walking in the warm weather. Ideal are for taking children as well
