My husband and I stayed for one night on our way home from Edinburgh. From the outside it looks lovely but appears a bit tired on the inside. Staff all very welcoming and the service was brilliant for the whole stay. Our room was at the front of the hotel and whilst large with adequate bathroom the noise from the busy road was noticeable. We reported that one of the bedside lights was not working and the bulb was replaced immediately. We had an excellent meal at bargian price with the offer of eating before 7.30p.m. Unfortunately there was nowhere to relax and have a drink except at the dining tables, could do with a little bar with some comfy chairs. Whilst enjoying a bed time read the bedroom lights all went out at about 11.15p.m. I did report this the next morning to the receptionist. When we came down for breakfast it was obvious that we were not expected and had to wait for a table to be got ready for us. The breakfast was basic and not very well presented, mini boxes of cereal and large jugs of orange juice. We were asked if we wished for a cooked breakfast without having been given a menu and when we asked what the choice was we were met with a blank look and told eggs!! We both had scrambeld eggs and they were very good. We did not have to check out until 11.00 which was great. An ok place to stay but I would not rush back.

Treebridge was recommended by several local based work colleagues who suggested this hotel as a good second option as Im a regular visitor to near by Guisborough ( work ) . This is my second stay here and I have not been disappointed - The hotel is in a quiet location with good parking . Rooms are furnished to a high standard with different decor tastes that suit all. The restaurant offers an extensive well balanced menu with a good choice of excellent prepared and presented food either eaten in the Restaurant,Bar or outside ( weather dependent ). Breakfast is freshly prepared with a good choice to suit your requirements . The staff are very pleasant and competent . My only concern is that O2 phone users may struggle for signal coverage in some areas of the hotel . Internet Wifi signal is strong and fast.

Having heard good things about The Treebridge, we decided to go for a meal to see for ourselves. The entrance to the restaurant is via the reception area for the hotel but there is no signage to tell you this so that wasn't the best start to our visit. The restaurant looked lovely but we were seated in the bar area, which wasn't as nice. The menu was bizarre, very confused. I decided to try the smoked salmon and mackerel lasagne for my starter. It wasn't a lasagne in any shape or form, it was just layers of smoked salmon and mackerel, very disappointing. My partner had the leek and potato soup and found it fine. We both had roast pork with stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, potatoes and vegetables. It was all ok, nothing special, except the potatoes which were almost like potatas bravas and didn't go with the meal at all. We then waited almost half an hour for our puddings. I had chocolate and orange sponge with custard and my partner had chocolate marquise. Both puddings were pleasant but nothing special. I was glad we had chosen to eat from the evening deal menu because I wouldn't have been happy to pay full price for the food we were given. We definitely won't be returning.

Our daughter and husband had their wedding day here, 17th April 2014,and it was wonderful. From booking the venue the staff could not have been more helpful. They accommodated all our requests catering for all our guests, many who had travelled long distances. Those who chose to stay overnight where more than pleased with the hotel rooms. The wedding day was perfect. We opted for a package and paid the difference for extra guests and it was worth every penny. The food, service and attention given was faultless. I only wish I had another daughter to do it all again! Thanks to Lynne and her staff for making the day so special.

Room Tip: We opted for a family room as we stayed with our 2 grandsons (aged 18 months and 3 years). King size...

Please note we visited restaurant only.

Service always with a smile creating really nice atmosphere. We prefer the less formal bar area but the restaurant has always been enjoyable when we have sat through there. Food is always on par and the chefs specials offer something a little different from usual menu: Sunday lunch served into evening is a big bonus and always hits the spot!

Called in tonight for early dinner. Good "fixed price" menu and a good selection on the standard menu. Although it was busy we did not have to wait long for our food.
I had the Mushroom starter followed by the Parmo, both were very tasty and well presented. The good lady had the fish trio starter followed by the roast pork (both off the fixed price menu). Again both dishes were well cooked and well presented.
A good choice of location for better than average pub grub.

My daughter held her daytime and evening wedding reception here in 2006 and to say that it was 5 star is an understatement. Everything was more than we could have imagined. We booked all 11 rooms for the guests and they were really well looked after. The wedding coordinator was first class and nothing was a problem. The function suite has its own entrance, toilets and bar which is seperate from the main part of the hotel. The buffet was served in the main suite and while this was being arranged tea and coffee was served in the adjoined foyer. The room was stripped and re dressed by the wonderful team in about half an hour. The food was beautiful and the staff so very friendly and helpful. We have been back to the Treebridge many times since then and have recommended it to many friends. On Sunday we were with a party of 10 celebrating a 70th birthday and once again everything was first class. Normally when one recommends a place you can be a bit concerned, however never with the Treebridge as it never fails. I did make a point of visiting the function suite and although not set up for an event it was still absolutely beautiful. Anyone with even a tiny bit of imagination could see how even more beautiful it would look set up for a wedding. All I can say to the couple who were not "very happy" is that you have missed out on a wonderful experience by not having your big day catered for at the Treebridge and as far as I am concerned any where else would have been second best. To the Treebridge staff/owners I am sure that you are only too well aware that you cannot please everybody, however please continue in pleasing 99.9%. Many thanks for our beautiful afternoon yesterday as we all had a great time.
