All of the staff we saw were all very helpful and pleasant. Especially the receptionist who checked us in and out the next day. She was fantastic! Very friendly!
The breakfast was lovely too. Lots to choose from. We went for the naughty cooked breakfast option after out heavy night out.
The only bad thing i have to say about the hotel is the standard of the bathroom. It was very dated and didn't seem very looked after. It took use a long to to get the shower to work. We had to 'yank' on the knob to get the water to come through the shower rather than the tap. The bedroom is also very dated but looked well maintained.
I must say the staff are the heart of this hotel and make you feel sooo welcome.
Thank you.

This is a recently built low rise independently owned hotel in an excellent location just off the A47 and about 3 miles from the city centre. The double room with disabled traveller facilities was spacious and very well equipped - a very comfortable king size plenty of power points and an 8ft desk to give just three examples. The breakfasts offered a good range of options, all cooked from fresh ingredients, and the carvery dinner we stayed in for one night was similarly very good. The special rate for a three night stay inclusive of a full breakfast was remarkably good value.

This hotel has potential. The rooms as others have stated are stuck in the 80's and would benefit from an update but are perfectly adequate.
The staff in the restaurant were pleasant but it was overstaffed. The meals ( both the Carvery and a la carte) and the breakfasts were of good quality.
A point to note-receptionists should never embroider the truth and tell porkies as to the busyness of the restaurant and the consequent need to book. The first night we were told there were big groups in and we must book a table but only saw about 8 people and on Saturday night we were the only 2 for dinner in the restaurant. The truth will out!
We booked on Late Rooms- does this mean you automatically get the very very furtherest room from the stairs ( be aware there is no lift.)?

I got a good price for the room, it was clean and included wifi. The staff were friendly and as a bonus there was also a gym on site.

Spent a weekend at the Brook Hotel, what a surprise. Very good, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, refurbished public rooms. Nice bar and restaurant and plenty of on site parking. The room was a very good size and although it did need sprucing up it was clean and comfortable. We often visit Norwich, and will certainly be back at The Brook Hotel.
