We have stayed at this hotel occasionally over many years, and it just gets better. Spotlessly clean with a very nice atmosphere. We stayed in the annexe this time, which is every bit as good as the hotel.Comfortable room, comfortable bed and well appointed. Only one point about our room was the shower. It was on the right hand side as you enter the room, glass door only no wooden door. The Hotel is less than ten minutes walk from the city centre,so very convenient. No traffic noise at all,so slept well. We did not eat in the hotel,a short walk away is the Eagle bar/restaurant which was very good.We thought the menu in the hotel looked very good if a little pricey. Would recommend this hotel.

to start i would like to thank the staff at the annesley house hotel for making it a wonderful and an enjoyable experience. I travel alot due to the nature of my job being in the armed forces and its hard now a days to find such a wonderful atmosphered hotel that provides excellent customer service lavishly decorated rooms and exquisite food. we stayed in one of the rooms in the coach house and i must say it was beautiful the room had all the modcons that just makes your stay worth while the bed was so lovely to sleep in as you slide under the covers you feel as if you dont want to come back out.

this certainly will not be my last stay at the annesley house and if the rest of the best western chain is anything like this hotel then they have done the best western a great service

This was our first stay at Annesley House, but it certainly won't be our last. We were visiting Norwich for Christmas shopping and stayed for one night in a recently refurbished room in the Coach House. The room was great - flat screen TV, king size bed and a great bathroom with walk-in shower and amazing lighting. Dinner was included in our deal and the meal was excellent - four courses, including coffee and truffles. Breakfast was also of a high standard. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the Coach House.

This was our first time in this hotel. Room a good size and bathroom enormous with "his and hers" basins and bath with water jets. If you prefer a shower, there is a shower head that is fixed to the taps but apparently nowhere to hang it on the wall if you want to stand up under it. Cleaners do a great job, bathrobes etc provided. A short walk into Norwich city centre. Hotel restaurant relatively expensive and be aware, if you have smoked haddock for breakfast it costs you a supplement. Waiter at dinner on Thursday night friendly and had a good balance between taking an interest and leaving us alone. Overall a good visit for the weekend.

Returned for our second visit this year with our adult son in tow to visit relations. We took advantage of the hotel's weekend special break which is great value and includes dinner on one night which we took on the saturday.Family owned hotel with long serving manager Shelley and duty manager Donna who hosted us well and made our stay enjoyable.
Rooms were refurbished and ours had a large walk in shower. Dinner was taken in the b&w redecorated dining room. Food from the set menu was of a very high standard and included great mains of pork, venison and fillet of beef subtly cooked and presented . The hotel was well patronised for the weekend and deservedly so.

Room Tip: Room 12 faced onto the ground and was very quiet.
