Wow my taste buds have been on a roller coaster! Aromatherapy for the nasal passages, as soon as you walk through the door we were greater by Denis who made us feel like a house dinner guest brilliant. The food was amazing. Never tried Caribbean food before but we will definitely be going back! Jonny especially loved the complementary class of special Rum for his birthday :)

If you enjoy your food and enjoy eating out then definitely give this restaurant a go. The menu is on their website so you can assess for yourself beforehand if this type of food is for you.

We went for dinner and the table is yours for the evening so you can take your time. Denis has obviously been in the business for a long time and has a relaxed welcoming approach; the restaurant is small and as Denis is the only front of house staff he covers all the tables taking his time to chat to his customers.

The menu is comprehensive and the food itself was lovely, the sauces are really tasty and the meat cooked really well. The food isn't pretentious, just good satisfying food with that home cooked feel. The main courses came with vegetables so we ordered an extra side of rice and beans and that was plenty for two. Don't be put off anything that is 'hot and spicy', I had the jerk chicken and it was delicious without numbing your mouth or bringing a sweat on.

We had, for two people, a 3 course meal, bottle of wine, a rum punch each and a coffee each which came to just over £100. As we enjoyed the meal, this is good value to us for a night out.

Service was spot on, I could only see two chefs in the kitchen but food came out promptly.

Overall, given it full rating because we had a lovely evening and left with a belly full of good food - can't ask for much more than that!

Went there for an evening meal and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was good and the food was excellent. The staff and owner were A+ and helpful.

Will certainly be going back and have recommended it to friends already.

We used this restaurant for the first time last week when we met up with friends in the centre of Norwich. Denis was friendly and the service very good. We all chose something different, I had the chilly which was lovely and spicy and all of us enjoyed what we had ordered. We had a bottle of red wine and two soft drinks with an all inclusive bill of £52, which I thought was very reasonable. We will certainly eat there again!
