“Fabulous English Tapas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014 via mobile

We love this cracking little pub, staff are professional, friendly & knowledgable!

And the food...wow! A comprehensive and well thought through range of English Tapas dishes. My personal favourites are blue cheese croquettes and steak & mushroom in red wine.

Well worth a visit!

“Amaze-Balls!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2014

Absolutely love this pub! It's proper English cosy with the massive open fire and beautiful shabby chic decor. The tapas food now being served is delicious, amazingly priced and so good for just a nibble or a full meal. The staff are so friendly and extremely attentive. I pop in with my 2 kids after a shop in the city or make it a night out with the BF or girlfriends. Always feel extremely welcome. Five stars all the way in my eyes, can't wait for the summer to sit in the beer garden. :)

“Lovely Sunday afternoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2014

Great food, excellent service and something very different from the usual Sunday roast. We tried 3 different things and all were excellent, plus a refreshing change to find some craft lagers on tap.

“Great! Can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2014 via mobile

We ate at the woollie on a Friday night, it was noisy in the bar so glad that we had booked a table as it was cosy and much quieter in the dining area! Every dish we ordered was great, it's a great idea and we'll executed. A few things had begun running out but there was still loads of choice. The staff were really nice and friendly, maybe a little stretched but they did a fantastic job.
Food is a good price too- with tapas it feels like the cost could mount up but we had 6 main dishes between 2 of us plus 3 (tapas!) Puddings, A couple of beers each and coffee for a little over £50.
