“Great place for business and pleasure”
Reviewed 25 September 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for two nights on business-easy parking for a city hotel, wifi good, room larger than usual for a premier inn; basically all you need. On the river means some nice walks and easy access to city centre

All Premier Inns are good in my opinion but this was very nice with a lovely view and walkway along the side of the river. lt was well lit and we walked along the pathway after dinner as it was a nice evening. We had the meal deal with plenty to eat and very enjoyable. A good stay.

This was the first Premier Inn we have stayed in and if this is a typical example of Premier Inns we will definitely be staying in them again. The receptionist on arrival was most polite, helpful and welcoming. A good start. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room very clean and a good size for the price. Easy location for the station which is opposite the hotel and a pleasant walk into the town itself. We walked along the river bank and then veered off towards the Cathedral and into the Norwich lanes and the main town. Breakfast was a good choice but could have done with being hotter. Very impressed!

Room Tip: Rooms over the river can be a noisy, especially on a Saturday night so ask for a room over the car p...

Chose to stay in this particular Premier Inn because of the great location. It is close to the riverside where there are lots of nice restaurants and close enough for us to walk into the city center. We also like to walk along the river into the center.
You know that you will get a good nights sleep because the bed is comfortable and having shower gel and hand wash in the bathroom is a nice little extra.
The breakfast was okay, a little bit expensive. The food in the restaurant in the evening was a bit basic and over cooked!
The staff are just so friendly and happy.

We stayed for 5 nights as a base to explore Norfolk. A week before arriving I phoned and requested a slightly larger room if possible. On arrival our check in was very quick and the receptionist very polite and friendly. Our request was met and we had a very large room on the first floor, with a balcony overlooking a small garden and the river, very nice. Extremely clean and comfortable room and bathroom. All the hotel staff were extremely pleasant and went out of their way to say hello. We had a lovely breakfast every morning, there was more than enough and the buffet kept constantly topped up. We also ate twice in the restaurant and on both occasions had a really good meal, with again very pleasant service. It is ideally located and only about a 5-10 minute walk into Norwich itself for sight seeing. Parking is free. My partner unfortunately didn't sleep on the last night due to 'noisy neighbours' but Premier Inn did refund us for that night. I would recommend this hotel and definitely return if visiting Norfolk again.

Room Tip: We requested a slightly bigger room on the river side.

A great place to stay in Norwich. 5 minute walk from the centre and half a minute hop from the railway station.
A great friendly check-in by Aaron and indeed all the reception staff were helpful. It was also noticable that the cleaning staff and chambermaids always went out of their way to say hello as you passed in the corridor.
A typically comfy bed and nice clean room.
Only the fact that one of the curtains did not close properly to block out the light in room 218 was the only critiscism.
Over all I would definitely recommend this place!

Just back from a weekend golf trip and found the Premier Inn to be ideally positioned near to the city centre so we were able to go out in the evening without having to drive or get a taxi. Also great that a city centre hotel has car parking. The facilities are good and the all you can eat breakfast ideal before a day on the golf course. Pleasant rooms, comfortable beds and friendly efficient staff. Wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.
