“Good Value and Quality”

Stayed just one night. For what we paid (£40) it represents good value. Probably wouldn't feel the same if I had paid the full flexible rate. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant is convenient although we didn't use it as we fancied trying the Thai on the boat opposite the hotel, which we would recommend. Location is good for the station although it a little walk into the city centre. A class above the Travelodge we have stayed in in Norwich.

We had lunch here today from daytime set menu, and what I had was delicious I had chicken curry, it was delicious, as authentic and good as in any Indian restaurant. Would definitely come here. Location was nice too and reasonably priced

We arrived for a two night weekend stay in Norwich. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful Receptionist, who, gave us good information and advice on where to eat. The hotel is centrally positioned so we could walk anywhere within the city. The room was up to the Premier expectation as was breakfast and customer service.

A clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient room in the centre of Norwich. A very pleasant terrace on a sunny Sunday morning next to the river. Handy for The Railway Station too. £100 for one night without a breakfast was a bit of a shock when booking but we may be out of touch. You decide.

A hotel that was once a swallow hotel with gym and pool stayed in it like that years ago.

Sadly after swallows demise the hotel was brought by premier and no more leisure club.

Saying that it's a lovely location, comfy rooms and like any premier inn attached to a reasonably priced restaurant.

Would love to see reinstatement of leisure club even if it was private and you had to pay extra, but alas I suspect it was demolished :-(

Myself and my partner went here for a weekend away and we loved it.
the food in the restaurant the nelson was just amazing i had a chicken mankarni and my partner had a chicken double stacked burger. Both meals were delicious and no faults what so ever! We also had breakfast here on the sunday. For somebody who is rather fussy i enjoyed the selection of different breakfast meals you could possibly have!
When we arrived we was greeted and checked in and shown where to go to our room. After entering the room we was highly pleased with the standards and cleanliness. We was situated on the 3rd floor and the only access to get there was a lift.
The only issues we had was noise as we were right on the river which had a lot of road noise but that couldnt be helped. We did ask for our sheets to be changed and this wasn't done but we let it slip as is wasnt a crucial point. If you are walking in the pedestrian entrance there is a flu from the restaurants kitchen which leaves a horrible smell lingering in the walk way. Depending on what time of the day it is the smell can be very very strong and sickly.
Overall i would stay and recommend this premier inn.

We stayed here for 3 nights last week. We were in Norwich for a short break. We booked in advance and only paid £113 for 3 nights, not including breakfast.

Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. The room we were given was spotlessly clean and a good size for then price. Fortunately I sat on the bed as were unpacking and it was very noisy; it creaked loudly every time I moved.

Based on that, we asked for a change of room and this request was met without question by the lovely staff at reception. We were also given a room on the river side of the hotel, which was a nice bonus.

The second room was also spotless and a good size. Secondary glazing minimised the noise from the main road that runs past the station. The bed was very comfortable.

The only criticism of the room would be the lack of extraction fan in the bathroom. As you're encouraged to keep the bathroom door closed, this makes for a very steamy room after a shower or bath. As an aside, I've never seen a bath that draws as quickly. It's amazing!

We did have breakfast here on two mornings and the continental selection was more than adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful at breakfast.

The bar area is really nice and again is very clean. It's nice to be able to eat breakfast, or have a night cap, overlooking the river.

For the price, I can't fault this hotel. It's spotlessly clean with genuinely friendly staff, a good breakfast and a nice bar area for the evenings.
