This Premier Inn was in the perfect location for us as it was just across the road from the train station. This also meant we were able to visit the coast during our short break as Great Yarmouth was just 30 mins away by train. We didn't need to use the buses but there seemed to be plenty around, Also there is a sightseeing bus that tours around Norwich which you can get on outside the train station. The particular rooms we stayed in had balconies with views of the river and of the hotel's private garden for the guests. It was a very short walk to the Riverside quarter where there was lots of places to eat, if you didn't want to eat in the hotel's restaurant (we didn't like the new spring menu), and a big odeon cinema. In the opposite direction there was a few small shops like Tesco Express where we were able to buy a few bits we needed.
Our rooms were much like all the premier inns we have stayed at but with the advantage of being able to open the balcony door to let fresh air in. Very comfortable beds.Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Really enjoyed my stay.

We always stop here when in Norwich. It is close to the city centre and right on the riverside. You can do the riverside walk from just across the road. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfy. Food is great for breakfast too.

booked a room at this hotel over easter as I was going to the football match and it's ideal for carrow road. not too impressed with them charging over double the normal rate just because there was a game on but that's common these days with a lot of major hotel chains.
the room was as expected and of a high standard. we had everything we wanted.

theres a decent bar and restaurant where we had a few drinks and a couple of meals during our stay. the food was good and reasonably priced.

the staff were helpful everytime we need them.

if you fancy a weekend in Norwich either for football or the nightlife then this place is spot on.

Norwich is a small city and from the hotel you are 10 minuted from the bars in the old town,5 minutes from the riverside bars and just around the corner from the nightclubs!

Booked this hotel as it was exactly where i needed to be during my stay. The hotel garden is beautiful with a little pond with fish and sculptures around the garden.
There was a bit of noise during our stay from other guests that woke us up early in the morning, and we could hear suitcases outside the window when people started to check out.
Love the sockets which are avaliable to plug laptops etc into the tv, this was a fantastic idea, just wish i was aware of this before i went as i would have brought my cables with me. maybe these could be added to the vending machines in the lobby.
A few of the shelves in the room had a layer of dust on them, and there was a hook missing from the coat hooks.
the security is fantastic at this hotel.

Room Tip: ask for one facing away from the car park.

Stayed here for a three night stay whilst attending a football game. From the time of booking in nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Being a wheelchair user it was nice to have a hotel room that served my needs, large, spacious, wheel in/walk in shower room everything was perfect, clean tidy room and car parking which is a bonus here. Access was good and locality for everything was excellent for all local attractions. Just one thing to mention that this hotel is at the bottom of a hill and is a short walk to the shopping area, but up hill is s struggle if you are being pushed in a wheelchair. Although a little bit dearer than most Premier Inns this is a prime location and you would pay a little more for this.

Room Tip: We had a room that over looked the river which was nice although a little bit away from the receptio...

This is a great budget hotel if you wish to simply relax, eat, drink , snooze and take in the sights of friendly Norwich. OK, so it's a ten minute walk from the town centre, but that's no big deal, however its got a great view of the river, FANTASTIC restaurant, really friendly staff and it's right next to the riverside food and entertainment area of Norwich, which means a choice of bars, food, cinema or bowling, but if it's the quiet life you want then out of all the Norwich Premier Inns , this is the one. It also boast free on site parking, truly pleasant garden with superb fishpond (understatement) overlooking the river, which all adds to the relaxing atmosphere, this is a real jewel in the premier crown. A big thanks to all the staff that make this the hotel the one to remember for all the right reasons. Note to management: DON'T ALTER ANYTHING !
